[PHONE] Calling TT, asking for Mr. Silver

Just called TT, male receptionist answered. I asked for Mr. Silver, VP of Productions according to the website. The receptionist stuttered a couple of moments, and then asked me to repeat the name, as if he did know who Mr. Silver was. I repeated back the name, and added as an afterthought "That would be Mr. Joseph Silver, head of productions". He then asked me to hold on while passing me by to his voicemail.

As an afterthought, he asked for my name, and after reading the topics on former phonecalls, I posed as a Mr. Sundstrom from Dynamix, wanting to speak to him about some offers we would like to make to him. I also left my cellphone number as contact information.

Will report back of anything of interest comes up...

New Report:

- I called back just a couple of minutes after the call above, to see if it would be the same receptionist answering. This time, the female receptionist answered.

I asked to speak with Mr. Robinson. She seemed to be searching for the name, as if she was not familiar with it. Seems strange to me that the telephone-receptionist should not know the name of her CEO. Stuttering a lot, she asked me if I wanted to leave a message or try the VM. I left a message, once again posing a Mr. Sundstrom wanting to speak to Mr. Robinson on a personal matter. She asked for company and got Dynamix in return. Once again, my cellphone is what I left as contact-information, together with a fake email with a @dynamix.com suffix...

Will report back, once something rises...

I am Mr. Sundstrom...I am, however, not from Dynamix. My contact-information is however real, with one exception.

Thought it would seem really strange to have said that you are from a company, and not having an email from that company...

You can however kill me if I did anything wrong...I usually lurk in the shadows, trying to do everything after it's been done...

Jolly Good show Mr. Sundstorm ^_~! Now we have account from at least three people that these receptionists obviously have no idea what they're talking about. I find this VERY interesting. What kind of a receptionist doesn't know the names of their superiors.

So far in this game I have emailed many people, and I haven't even gotten an automated responce from any of them. But as for calling this company (Who seems to be open to all hours of the night, on labour day no less) we should still to the same company name, and plead a heavy case. Calling at least a few times a day just to show that we mean business and that we're really looking for answers.

Things we need answered are:
1. The name of the old Webmaster and any contact information of his. (If they're curious as to why you're asking, say something like your company was interested in accquiring his services because of the excellent job he did on the TT webpage. Kissing Corprate ass always works)
2. Whether or not they plan on updating the public on their upcomming television shows (via eletronic newsletter for example).
3. If Richard Meyer still works at the company and if not, ask if he has left any contact info. If they tell you that he doesn't, and then ask to why you're curious, just act sympathetic and say that it was recommended you talk to him through one of your business partners. ...If they start asking questions, divert them.

Feel free to call and ask one, two or all three of these questions. If you get anywhere, please post.

One of the files hidden on the DreadHouse website a few days ago was a scan of a memo to Richard Meyer.

The file is probably in the Dread House update thread.

I'll save you the time on a couple.... http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4742 and http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4774&start=15 cover at least two of these.

Could be interesting to know if he still works at the company, and if not, why he has been fired/quit.

Could also be very interesting to find out which project he worked on, my personal guess would be UH/DH.

got the woman reeceptionist.
Richard mayer never worked there. She had no idea who it was. She said no one by that name ever worked there. Total denyability.

I asked for Mr. Silver after. She shuttered slightly and said he's unavailable. I said to do voicemail and she hung up (twice she did that to me).

I'll try back later when I get home. But they are oviousally hiding something. Smile

I think it's highly suspicious that these receptionists are stuttering as much as they are. I haven't talked to them, so I can't say I've heard how they're doing it, but it just makes me feel like they're hiding something. I think it's either that they're not ready to reveal information yet, or we just haven't asked the right questions...

Actually, it was more of a "I'm being pressured" kind of stutter. I was laying it on pretty hard.

Oh.. and I called back and got the male receptionist (Have you noticed that when you call back, you get the other one? Has anyone gotten the same person when they call back?) and he said that someone named Mike will call me with contact information about Richard.

Also, BOTH of them said they thought I said "Ron". Now, I don't have the most clear voice out there, but for BOTH of them to confuse it.. Perhaps someone could shed some light on who Ron is and if this is a suttle hint we should be asking for Ron?

I'll call when I get home and follow up on Mr. Silver.

Yeah. I guess. Smile

They thought I was talking about a "Ron". But I made it clear I wanted to discuss something with Richard.
