Hi all. I missed the 1st round of axons, but I'm all over round number two! I have 35.996300-902867 (standard proceedure) covered. It's 18 min from my house.

Two questions though: how do we tell if these are in am or pm and PDT is the time in california right?

It's in military time... If you can subtract 12 from the hours and still get postitive numbers, it's P.M. (night-time, just so we're not confused!)

If you can't subtract 12 hours and get a positive number (say it's 10:21PDT) then it's in the A.M.! And yes, California is PDT (it's just saying Pacific timezone (PST) but since we're in daylight savings time it's PDT...

So go get it! Rock On

St. Louis area and our Fourth Axon

Hey, just out of curiousity, who got the Axon in Alton, IL. I was expecting to have to do a hell drive to pick that one up during lunch one day. Thanks!

Anyhow, the remaining St. Louis Axon is at Meramec Community College. Is anyone here part of the group that fired this one last time? Which phone is it?

Would folks like to meet there tomorrow about about 11:20 Central, do the Axon thing and then go out for lunch somewhere? There's a pretty good Chinese place at the NW corner of Big Bend and Lindbergh.

just got back from the 11:33 axon (chicago, wrigley field, CTA red line stop). there were 3 payphones downstairs and two on the platform. i tested both phones on the platform and they accepted incoming calls. since i was alone i decided to take the one on the south end of the platform as it matched the coordinates. the phone never rang and i had to leave empty-handed.

gah! It's the payphone at the north end of the platform!

You wouldn't think it would be, since the other one sits so prettily right on top of the coordinates, but it is.

Shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot.

16:33 PDT real

both of these are less than 20 minutes away....there's actually ONE more...but school is holding me back from hitting that axon. rochester, mi.
10:17 PDT drt any ideas on how we'll say drt? pronounced D.R.T. or dirt?

i'm able to reach all of these on friday...however i'm hoping for the sake of my own impatience with the story that somebody reaches them

Oh, I forgot a funny part of that story. Bill Clinton was in town, doing a book signing at a Barnes and Noble right near the Best Buy where the phone was located. Very funny, getting odd looks from people with I LOVE CLINTON signs as we head to the phone with maps and notes in hand. And if this isn't a sign of the power of ARGs, I don't know what is: it didn't cross my mind once to stop in and even get a look at the ex-pres.

Missed the 12:17PDT visa. Correct phone, got the call, guy answering was a little nervous and the room was noisy so the response was not recognized as correct. We'll try again tomorrow.

Headed now to the 14:11PDT miracles, wish me luck.

The four creepy ones are within 4 minutes of each other too. None of these are close to my work, so I won't be able to hot these until Saturday. If anyone else wants to hot them now, go for it! There are mapquest and GPS satalite links at http://www.lou2.net/temp/hivekuts-coords.html . Let me know if I can do anything to help.

I'm gonna try to get the 4 minue ones, Ranger. I'm trying to convince my bf and our roommates to participate.

I know I can easily get the: 14:39, 16:09, 16:17, 17:07, 17:17, 17:27, 17:37, 17:49, 17:53, 17:57, and 18:01.

Tell me which locations you're going for, and which ones I can aim for.
