Ok, Chicago-suburbanites! We got two now, baby! Mr. Green We've got a repeat of Monty's at 1:31pm Central Time, and one in Hinsdale (corner of E Hinsdale Ave. and Village Pl.) at 12:53 Central... So, that means we could just make it to both in the same day, or we could delegate... I could make the 12:53 one on my lunch break, but I can't get to the other, unfortunately... Whaddyall think?

By the way, I gotta admit that while he/she seems to rock, I'm getting a little bit of the Single White Female vibe from DM... (calls him/herself DM, posts a list that merged with another list allows us to coordinate and determine who's got what covered and what goes hot, etc...) Just a little creepy... Cool

I think I can make monties at 1:30 if I take a late lunch but not sure that it will be open at that time. and if it is it'll probably be a funureal reception or something.

Grr. Payphones...

Anyone know how reliable The payphone directory website is? It's telling me that none of the South Shore Plaza payphones accept incoming calls.

Meh.

Bah, good luck guys!!

I still wish they'd put an Axon in Baton Rouge - instead of sticking them all in Lafayette.. Evil or Very Mad

I have created a new thread for Reporting, Discussing, and Speccing on the Hivekut axons. This thread will continue to be used for coordinating axon visits.

Laughing pjv2.... Dude, just don't run inside or be prepared to tip big, ya know?

Just follow this simple formula, as given to me by my new BEST FRIEND:

I'll do my best to hit the downtown Baltimore axons this week (bracelet, curious_girl, good_at_my_job, accessorize, freelance), although it is notable that freelance is either broken or within a Peabody School for the Arts classroom complex -- either way, doubtful I'll be able to even case that particular joint.

And accessorize is in the single most dangerous part of the city. I don't think Melissa likes Baltimore very much. Confused

DM ha! This time I'll know not to play frogger trying to get to the phone. Hopefully it's a different manager this time. I think the last would be surly.

Just noticed the one in Orlando, FL (12:09 - visa). It appears to be in the parking lot of City Hall (400 Orange), based on the maps. But using the Eagle test drive site, City Hall is at a different coordinate set yet very close - a little bit north and west. Being smack dab in downtown Orlando, there are likely a mess of payphones this could be. I checked CNL's address, which is in the same city block (450 Orange), and they are a little bit south and east. So, likely this phone is somewhere on this block. The round building across the street is even further away, so doesn't appear to be a 'side of the street' issue.

No way I could get to it during the week (more than an hour round trip for me), but could make an attempt on Saturday, if nobody else does any legwork prior.

Anybody in Dekalb, IL?

Axon in asset at 5:55pm central time, is in Dekalb, IL. I'll try to be at it, but the coordinates are vague... they point to the middle of 23 outside of the Monsanto building. I'm guessing either the phones in Kish Hospital, that Amoco on the corner of Bethany and 23, or that health services building across from the Monsanto campus.

philadelphia axons

I live just outside philadelphia and cannot reach these axons because I do not have a car. I want to go to one of the axon locations and see how many people are in the area. Also i found out that there are two axons in philadlephia located a little over 1km from each other. Both are on the same street (15th) one is located at city hall, the other is located near independence mall. i just thought it was wierd that melissa would put two axons so close to each other.

ps: anyone who goes to the one in philly PM me and let me know what went down.

A.) How exactly can we take a coordinate and convert that into a direct address?
B.) Are we still saying the same thing

i.e. Name= Melissa, Nickname= Operator, code= (group name), I love Halo 2???
