Lookingglass.html shows the Princess sympathising with the Flea. Maybe she's gettng weaker to the Flea's infulence.

got it, much thanks to the beekeepers chat room:

the servant of a certain evil queen,

What am I?
not sure if this goes directly with it:

Living in a old castle
Playing hide and seek.
There's so many ways it could be interpreted I'm not even going to bother. But I doubt the one in the recent BeeKeepers e-mail was correct. That is:
Quote:
I am an enemy of beauty,
the evil servant of a certain aging queen,
and a doorway for the little girl.
Living in a old castle
Playing hide and seek.

The SP seems FAR from an 'Evil Servant' if you ask me. The last thing she seems to do is serve the queen, and she isn't evil as far as I can tell. Unless we get some sort of clue as to how it is organised I don't think any assumptions should be made.

The riddle is talking about a looking glass.
As in http://www.ilovebees.com/lookingglass.html
It's not talking about the SP, Queen, and/or P Flea.
Scroll up.

My apologies. ^^;;
Just the way they were talking about a queen and all, I just assumed. ^^;;

Maybe she's just becoming more 'human'? You'll notice she doesn't sound like a valley girl this time around. She's matured since /yellowbrickroad. She still tries to kick its ass, though.
If anything, I think the flea is trying to sympathise with her. It is a 'seeker', so it tries to understand the princess by finding out what she seeks (hence all the '!analyse: princess' lines of code). Obviously, this is merely a ploy for SP to let her guard down so the flea can attach, and she doesn't seem to fall for it. She's seen what the flea did to the queen.
Though, of course, this train of thought would probably belong in an analysis thread, not the puzzle thread itself. (or can we keep discussing it here?)

Numbers from the Princess Does anybody else think there are too many numbers in lookingglass.html to just be coincidence? I don't quite know what to make of it right now, but I'm going to look into some kind of ridiculous numerical extrapolating this afternoon to see if something can be made of the Princess' number-use. Also, her reference to baloons seems too repeated to be just talk..
Does this [Spec] belong anywhere else? If so, feel free to move it... This just looked like the best place to me..

This place is as good as any..
I think SP referring to balloons is just her messing with PF. Obviously he's trying to get to her and let her attach, but she seems to be trying to get him to put his guard down. Maybe she plans to reprogram him and fix the situation?

Ya, I know, it's another solution to this. But at least this one uses all of the words in the pictures. For some reason, you guys kept leaving out one of the the s.

Oh, and DM, I don't think this is referring to the Princess as the sevant. The mirror is the servant: allowing the Queen to see what is going on behind her.

OK, I can see a mirror being bad for someone aging, serving someone watching, and being a toy for someone curious. And I can certainly see one lying around an old castle.
Mirrors play hide and seek? Is this an allusion to it's real task? Melissa thinks she is playing hide and seek, but she really is just ... reflecting?

Isn't the "servant of a certain evil Queen" just referring to the mirror that the Queen in Snow White used ("mirror, mirror on the wall") -- not in-game, per se? We don't think Melissa's evil, after all, and neither does the SP seem to. Plus, the other lines don't really mean anything in-game. I think it's just a clue for looking glass.

Of course. And "doorway for the little girl" certainly refers to Alice - similarly out-of-game. It's just a puzzle. Similarly, consider that there's no "yellow brick road" anywhere in this game; we had to tap TWOO to solve it.
Common thread: TWOO, Alice, and Snow White are all well-known childhood books with young heroines. And all three were left by our dear SP. We should keep this in mind for future riddles.

or... Could we explore the possibility that the two-line snippet is not part of the riddle? What if there were two riddles?

I don't think this section belongs in the riddle:
Quote:
Living in a old castle
Playing hide and seek.
Because the riddle flows better without it, the text didn't come in the same one word per picture form, and this text was seen before in SP's haiku's about SPDR chasing PF. Basically, I think the PM's accidentally included the picture with this text in this stage, probably mistaking it for the original image since the picture looked fine. [/quote]

Yeah. Except I don't remember it. Or really even know what it means.

I guess we have something in common after all

Did anyone else take this as the Princess is from the same place the flea is? What does that do to our theories???

Eh, I took it to mean that they're both trying to get home, not that they have the same home. That's just my interpretation, though.
