Thanks Chappy...

I just want to make sure I have as much information as possible before I head over there.

(Oh, and thanks for the avatar!)

One more question...

What can someone (aliendial?) tell me about the "wendy's" axon, on duke street? I think that's probably my best bet for an axon today (18:35 EDT), and since we already have it, it shouldn't be hard to get.

But... I don't want to screw it up, or get to the wrong phone. So can someone give me specifics on it?

Thanks.

Find the Wendy's. Answer the payphone on the right. Have a burger to celebrate.

It's that easy.

Wendys: Duke and Quaker Lane. What Mike said. See Chappy's DC reference page. Easy!

New plan for the alien, successfully on the crew.

Work intervenes, cannot get the Conn. & K axon this afternoon, or the movies (the very bad crush starting a little earlier than I hoped). Also concerned about being asked to sing again and how good Melissa's aural memory is. If still need that one tomorrow, can probably get it.

Sorry guys, I got home from school too late to be able to ge the 14:37, and after that I found that my bike was broken. Since I had already missed 3, I decided to fix my bike and go tomorrow, since I don't have to go to sports. Sorry about that, but they should still be up tomorrow.

Got the wendy's one. Stood out in the rain for 10 minutes to get it, but I got it. Unfortunately I was out of luck re: live call. I dont' think I'll be joining the crew this week.

Cortana made noises when I was on the phone with him earlier about doing a DC beekeeper happyhour or something similar sometime. Anyone else interested? I know I'd love to meet those of you I haven't (Mike Was, Cortana) and see the others I've already met....

Well, here's to hoping there are other chances to get on the crew!

Go team! Good day today, and we've got two more DC axons Hunters on the crew roster! Who's going to be next? Smile Mike_Was and Cortana hit another home run getting axons answered. Worshippy Mike/Cortana, let me know who got what this morning so I can assign credit properly on the reference page. INCyr, did you find the new GW phone? I'd love to get details on its location. And Kudos to everyone who stood in the rain waiting for a phone to ring Smile

I'm just getting home now, so I'm behind on whatever happened today. I definitely want to hear the Union Station story re: the live call, and what's up with the Princess? I made some quick edits to the reference page just now to bring it up to speed, but I'll edit it again tomorrow to clean it up.

If live calls are still going out tomorrow, I'll hit the Union Station calls that we missed. I may be able to the Smithsonian as well. By my count, the 16:21 call at the Georgetown Cinema is the only remaining DC area axon that can contribute to unlocking a file (hopscotch 5/8 ). Good luck Kakashi!

Chappy, I believe these are the proper credits:

06:35 HOT MikeWas Spout Run
07:03 HOT Live Call CPO Tom Bridge Carousel
07:11 HOT MikeWas Wash Harbor
07:31 HOT NHM Tom Bridge
07:53 HOT Tom Bridge Vermont Avenue
09:11 DUMP 12th & C East
09:25 HOT Tom Bridge 14th & Con
09:32 HOT MikeWas Personal Call
10:07 DUMP 12th & C West

I picked up the first Union Station Axon that went hot, which was the live call, and Mike got the rest.

Then we collapsed from exhaustion.

Basic gist of the live call was... We identified as Aliendial, We talked to the SP, got further than before, screwed it up, and then talked with Melissa some more.

hmrpita and Ariock were able to free the SP based on our data, however, so that much is good!

This is where it gets interesting...apparently Dana's in danger again.

Chappy-

I haven't been to GWU yet, I head up there today. I do worry that the phone is in the metro station, on one of the platforms.

I'll definitely be checking it out today before class. However, the phone rings at 6:07pm (they changed it!) leaving me < 7 minutes from when class gets out to get there... and I'm far enough away (G & 19th) I don't think I can do that, especailly when I don't know the right phone.

So alas, someone else will have to get this phone.

This is correct. Checking the recipe2 page, it looks like Tom got one Union Station axon (the live call) and I got five, plus one dump.

New Recipe4 axons

According to today's recipe4 update, we're going to have another string of axons in Union Station next week, thankfully around lunchtime.

I haven't broken out the locations of the others yet.

Aliendial, you're getting a personal call on your cell at 14:41 PDT (So that should be sufficiently "after work" to get, I hope.)

I'm working on my own set of the recipe4 calls right now. If it's finished before Aliendial posts her usual collection (which is better than mine), I'll post it here until then.

Here's a temporary list of our Axons from the recipe4 page. The location names come from the DC reference page

I believe I have a lunch date at union station with a certain AI on the 5th....

Anyone else who would like to attend, I promise, you won't be a third wheel. We're just in the getting to know each other stage.

/me sneaks in a little fun

Whew, there are a lot. And Chappy YOURS is better. You're actually keeping tracking of who got what and you have those great layered maps to help people find places they've never been. I just edit down what DarkForge generates. Not that we seem to have many eager new hunters any more. Hello? A little help? Anyone else want a shot at joining the crew of the Apocalypso?

As before in the last two weeks - several of the afternoon axons (generally those at GW and Georgetown Cinema) MOVED AROUND IN THE FINAL PAGE ON TUESDAY. Expect maybe one or two Georgetown Cinemas to go away and the GW axon to change times. So don't just grab this document and go- check to make sure your axons are still there on Tuesday.

PLUS NOTE I INCLUDED A MARYLAND AXON THIS TIME - THIS IS THE CLOSEST THEY'VE COME TO DC IN MARYLAND -- AN APARTMENT BUILDING IN SILVER SPRING. I AM NOT SAYING WE HAVE TO GET IT BUT IT IS CURIOUS THAT THERE IS SUDDENLY ONE UP THERE.
