Okay folks, we're 36 hours from Tuesday morning. Who's doing what and when on Tuesday?

I've gone over the list, and we'll need three or four hunters to cover the majority of the axons. As before, the axons are grouped together so that a single hunter can get multiple calls in a given trip. I've listed the groups below, please take a look and reply if you can snag a group or part of a group. Note the multiple calls at Union Station, Spout Run and Georgetown Cinema.

Morning calls on the Mall:
08:19 (11:19a EST) "Natural History"
09:07 (12:07 EST) "14th and Constitution"
If these are covered by someone with a car, consider one or both of the morning calls in SW DC below:

Morning calls in SW DC
08:03 (11:03a EST) "12th and C (East)"
08:35 (11:35a EST) "12th and C (West)"
If these are covered by someone with a car, consider one or both of the morning calls on the Mall above::

Morning calls in northern VA:
08:09 (11:09a EST) "Wendys"
08:13 (11:13a EST) "7-11"
As before, these are too close together to get by a single person, so pick one

Union Station: Chappy, Cortana and maybe Aliendial
10:22 to 10:32 (1:22 to 1:32 EST) "Union Station"
I think we'll want as many hunters as possible here

Afternoon calls in northern VA:
11:59 (2:59 EST) "Spout Run"
12:04 (3:04 EST) "Spout Run"
12:52 (3:52 EST) "Ballston"

Evening Museum calls: Chappy will cover
13:15 (4:15 EST) "Building Museum"
13:46 (4:46 EST) "13th and Jefferson Drive"
14:03 (5:03 EST) "National Gallery"

Evening calls in South DC: Chappy will cover
16:28 (7:28 EST) "Carousel"
16:36 (7:36 EST) "Smithsonian"
16:41 (7:41 EST) "Federal Center"

Evening calls in Georgetown:
14:57 (5:57 EST) "Washington Harbor" Kakashi117
17:38 to 17:53 (8:38 to 8:53 EST) "Georgetown Cinema" Maybe Aliendial or Chappy

Evening calls in NW DC:
16:57 (7:57 EST) "Vermont Avenue"
17:03 (8:03 EST) "Connecticut and K"
17:41 (8:41 EST) "GW"

See the DC Reference page for maps and descriptions. The Silver Spring axon is back on the list and not mentioned above... any reports from the field?

Notes for Tuesday: Don't forget your personal calls if you're a member of the crew. Check in on the passphrase coordination thread prior to axon hunting. Be prepared with digital cameras

In response to my own post Smile, I'll take care of these two groups:

    Evening Museum calls
    Evening calls in South DC

and I'll be at Union Station as well.

I do not recommend anyone try the last group in downtown DC - they are now much later than they ever have been and it just won't be safe. The one on Vermont particularly so, but really all of them.

I am going to try to get to Union Station, but no promises. Tuesday will be a very difficult day.

If things go well during the day I can get to Georgetown Cinema. But remember, based on past experience, those axons may shift a bit in the final page.

That looks like all I'll be able to do. We're expecting what is being referred to internally as Organizational Chaos this week.

Who can save our kid crewmember from biking down to georgetown and back tomorrow night? I am a possible, but no guarantees. This is a safety issue, guys. INCyr? Catch a good movie afterwards.

kakashi - not everybody will have digital image capabilities. Don't worry about it. Hopefully we will do something fun with that at the Union Station cluster.

Tuesday's the last rehearsal before my concert. No such luck. Sorry guys.

Wow my chart was missing some info. I really WAS going too fast. So I updated it (see msg at end of previous page in thread); still waiting to see if there are any changes in the final axon distribution.

I hope so. I just realized the National Gallery call is 3 minutes after the museum closes. Sad I mailed Melissa (using the hotmail address) to alert her of the issue, I suggested swapping the time with another.

Kakashi117, that's great news about the 5:57 call; any call might be live (and might unlock a file). I don't think I can cover the late Georgetown axons Tuesday; Wednesday is more likely but not 100%

Union Station at 1:22 should JUST fit into my schedule, so count me in. I haven't looked at the other times yet, but I'll get my usual list.
If we need to transfer digital images during the hunt, we'll need camera phones (which I don't have) or a list of available public wifi spots. Anyone done any wardriving in DC?

If we have to do it quickly, there are Starbuck's galore for those willing to pay for T-Mobile access. Free options include wide-open nodes at the Vermont Ave, axon (about a ten-fifteen minute drive) or if time permits, the Apple Store in Clarendon.

I'll bring my digital camera and such. I doubt camera phones will be effective sine I suspect we'll need to post, not email.

Count me in for Union Station but I may not be able to do much more tomorrow.

According to T-Mobile's site, 7th and H is the closest T-Mobile hotspot that we can use. No word on if that Starbucks that's just gone in at Union Station will have (they'd be retarded not to) a Hotspot or not.

I'm down for Union Station, but since I have to travel tomorrow, I'm SOL on anything else. Will have camera, bluetooth and telephone today.

See you there Axon Hunters.

Kakashi - don't worry about Georgetown tonight. It's too late and we haven't got any backup for you. If we still need them and nobody else gets them tonight, I can do it tomorrow.
