Communications Log
I found a last message from Melissa.
I realize that some of my truest allies won't be able to come to any of the four training events scheduled for November 4th, where I will also be giving out a communications log of my time here in DVD format. I'm sorry I can't do more training events, but I will be able to cache copies of the comm. log at an additional 27 locations on November 7.

FAIRFAX SQUARE 8

Tysons Corner - across from Rte. 7 entrance)
Beginning at 12 Pacific Time on November 7, friends and allies can approach an official at one of these rendezvous sites and deliver the relay code: "The Operator left a message for me." (We'll use that Operator name. When they hear it, people go :-0 )
The first 50 allies at each of the 30 locations will receive the transmission log. I can release only one log per crew member.
If you are absolutely unable to rendezvous at one of these locations, and you are on my list of trusted allies, please contact Dana with your mailing address. She may be able to help.
Training attendees will receive the same thing and therefore need not worry that their plane doesn't get in until later that evening....But if you think there's a chance they won't be gone at either spot (hello, lurkers?) Let me know and I will try to swing by Tysons on the way home from the airport. May be able to toss into the swag lottery, although I think the offer of a mail option should take care of pretty much everyone who really cares about this.

I think it'd be more fun if we all went to the same one. Honestly the Fairfax location is easier for me, but I'll go wherever everyone else is going. What are people's thoughts?
Any [SPEC] on how we'll recognise the "official"? Microsoft does own more than 27 Master Chief suits.
EDIT: EDIT: I suck at directions. See AlienDial's post below

Fairfax Square is a good half mile up from Chain Bridge Rd. on Leesburg Pike (Rte 7) - a ritzy bunch of shops at ground level (Gucci, Hermes, Tiffany's) in what mostly looks like an office building, theaters below. The entrance to the plaza is directly across from the Rte. 7 entrance to Tysons. (This access point is also where you turn in to get to the new Best Buy and Borders.)

forgive me for butting in here... Pittsburgh PA axon hunter here who will be traveling to they NYC event on Thursday. I have a train layover in DC from 12:24-2:05 eastern.
It looks like I'll miss your big batch of axons there at the station by just a few minutes unfortunately! (unless I want to grab one and then run alongside the train right after...) But if anyone wants to get together for lunch or at an axon I didn't notice, let me know!
Nothing like taking ILB on the road...

score! A chance for me to get a DVD of all the sound files compiled by none other than the masterminds...so maybe a bit of bonus as well. I'll head over to the G-Town K Street Cinema Sunday, as I live fairly close to there. I'll just be pissed off if there are 50 people there who don't play the game but got the message.

Sorry I'll miss you, thunderclap8, but I'll be on the 4:05. Annoying work deadlines will make it unlikely that I'll be able to get Union Station axons, but anything's possible. I'll see you and Ian in the City...

I'm up for meeting at Georgetown tomorrow at 9pm (which is the updated date/time for picking up that DVD). I'm not going to make Union Station this time, unfortunately. But we should try to pick up a few extra discs in case something comes up and people can't make it. I'm not sure how many people are going to show up...
Thankfully, my call tomorrow comes when I'm not in class, but if it were an hour or two earlier...
Heh, I should also email them or something and see if they can correct my name in the roster. ("starcreater" and "Star Creator" are the most common mispellings of my nick, after all...)
