 		Uhm...there's some really loud air conditioning units at my work, so I might be wrong. But it sounds like Jan got similar implants to what the Spartans have. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Agreed, and agreed.
However, we still don't know how "stupid_cop" knows so much about what Jan is. It's clear that his suspicions were triggered by the burning of the records by J^2, however.

Sounds like the cop is not totally dirty, but he's dishing out some vigilante justice which is still morally questionable.

Agreed. I don't think he's dirty, per se; he's just got an overdeveloped sense of personal justice. Sounds like he takes matters into his own hands. Lots of hooah. The whole thing about pulling strings to get onto the force early and all, you know?

I think so. He hardly starting doing anything on the comp when the cop showed up. However, he seemed pretty suprised and paniced when he started saying "red." Unless this is a good show, I would say that something fishy is going on.

[EDIT] Actually, isn't it Aiden that asks what time it is. I think Aiden tried to set him up. Notice how badly he wanted Kamal to come to dinner, and how disapointed Aiden was when the cop had to leave. I am pretty sure that Aiden wanted to get him, he probably knows something about Kamal ghosting him and wanted to get back at him for that.

[Aiden finds Kamal and invites him to dinner] ??(freelance?) -> bracelet ->
[Kamal and Hiro set up Kamal's backup] ?? (panic_button?) ->
[Kamal, Aiden, and Sophia at dinner] blue_then_red -> visa -> my_family -> shock_sticks -> trigeminal -> red -> ?? (i_hate_you?) -> tack_hammer ->
[Kamal and Hiro make up] raining_cops -> dude

also:

[Officer approaches Jan] pigeon -> ?? -> frustrated
[Officer blackmails Jan] ?? -> to_do -> on_time -> code_nothing
[Officer attacks and kills jerk] -> ?? ->
[Officer has Jan file a false witness report] standard_procedure -> ??(drt?) -> ?? ->
[Officer and Jan discuss what happened] creamsicle -> miracles -> asset ->
[Jan starts the process of discovering her own past]

also:

[Jersey and Durga] the_human_heart -> curious_girl -> (Kamal material) -> exclusive_license -> ?? -> awful_fast -> ?? -> (Jan material) -> ?? -> creepy
