Maybe all chatter (read: phone call type thingy) is copied onto disc/tape. The cop would be wanting to confiscate the hard copy of whatever was just said.

That could also be why Jan seems so confused--because no one got shot. Maybe the stupid cop is in on it somehow, which is why he doesn't want her to talk about it?

Also to add to that when I listen to red and Aiden presses the red button you can hear a beeping sound like an alarm going off. When the Cop's comm system comes on you can hear the same beeping in the backround right before the garbled message starts so it sounds like whatever Aiden pressed trigged the alarm at the police station

I do hear a lengthy series of beeps before the garbled radio trans comes through. That corroborates your story, but I'd like to hear 'dude' before I firm up any [SPEC] on that subject.

 		quick/early spec:

The cop pulls over J^2 and Jannisary. The cop for some reason shoots J^2 and kills him. He tells the guy he talks to on his radio that J^2 pulled a gun, so that it looks like self defence. He wants to put Jan under the lie detector test about what she seen because he knows Jan can beat the test..from their previous encounter. He asks her name because it's probably just required or he wants it to look like he doesn't know her so theirs no speculation or something.

 		Just to get others thinking about it...
Forgive me if this isn't quite the time or place (De-Lurking here), but I wanted to point out how odd it is that we are discussing the Red and Blue in the story that is unfolding in the .WAVs but this isn't the 1st time there have been Red and Blue in a ILoveBees story line....

And Dark doesnt equate to evil.
Seriously though, re-liten to red....kamal is talking to aiden on the chatternet, aiden is somewhere that has 2 buttons a red and a blue. Aiden thinks its the blue button, Kamal somehow finds out its the red button (maybe something on the cop gives it away) so he clues aiden on the the red button with the curtian thing, you will hear aiden say "what? I thought it was the blue one"
In dude, aiden and kamal are talking again and he tells him the red button sends out a call to all cops in area that another officer is under fire. Then they stop talking about that and start talking about leftovers.

you'll see Wink

so heres my spec...cops in area still dont know the call wasnt real, so they are stopping suspicious people, just so happens J^J is in the area ............well J^J thinks they have cuaght on about him blowing up the police station in emergency, so he starts to pull a gun in case it goes that route, the cop get see's it and shoots him. Alot of spec I know , can you handle it! Razz

It's not that I don't believe you, I just want to hear it for myself before I post anything definite. As far as I know, you have only heard it once (correct?). So you theoretically could be making a slight mistake.

No, no, no! Listen again. There are four people in the clip. The person saying "Red, red, red..." (Kamal?, probably accepted the thing that Aiden asked him to do) is saying it through a communications device to another person (Hiroyuki?) at a remote site who answers through the communicater with "I thought it was blue". Aiden is there in the room with the Kamal and the cop. The speaker (Kamal?) comments on Aiden's "Red" curtains to provide an expalanation to the cop as to why he was saying "Red". Aiden gets it and plays along with the "my friend is passionate about interior decorating" dodge.

Aiden's voice in the room is clearly local, the voice of the person "at the button" is clearly transmitted!
