I might have to miss the axons for next week as my daughter is due to be born on the 13th. Get this: we're going to name her "Autumn". My wife thinks she thought up the name, and it is because she's being born in the fall, but the first thing that jumped into my mind was a Halcyon-class cruiser armed with Shiva nuclear-tipped missiles. So of course I said "okay." Everyone's happy.

wow i leave a computer for a few days and all heck breaks loose! i havent had time to check all of the posts since i left (right now im in the loby of a Holiday Inn in Ontario Oregon, using the guest comp to check the forums) it looks like there will be some team work nessicary for this next round. how are the Portland axon hunters doing on co-ordination? who is going to axons? It looks poor for me to hit any of them but i can help by phone if nessicary.

You all don't have much time to coordinate. Either dial into the nationwide
organiztion (Axon/Passphrase Coordination) or read the last few pages of
the "Wa. State Axon Enhottenators" thread. Either way, you are sure to
get some help.

are you planing on getting all of those axon's??? wow thats a lot, I may be able to get the one on 6th and Stark and of course my one at home. BTW is the one on stark in one of the bus-stop covered areas or is it the payphone right on the corner, I went to the bus stop one and it didn't ring so Im figuring it is the payphone on the corner.

I'll miss the 10th and Hoyt one at 10:00 or so but other than that I'm FREE!

I've got a camera phone, so don't worry about it.

I told the Sleeping Princess that if I send the Queen a picture in which there is a red balloon, or me giving somebody bunny ears, then that's the "special sign" for her to know that we still like her. So, I'm bringing my red balloons.

There's a possibility that I might be at the 16:05 Axon at 46th and Woodstock, so I'll be bringing a digital cam for that use. But then I have to be gone by 4:20, so it might be a little while before the pic would be emailed off to Mel, if it's a live axon. Any time issues with the emailing that we know of?

EDIT: Never mind. Just did some looking into transit times, and it'd take too long to get there, and then where I need to go. Damn.

ENHOTTENATED by ME!!! I couldn't have timed it more perfectly; I drove right up and parked illegally, got out and walked over to the phone which rang when I got to it, then answered the machine and listened to the clip.

10 out of 12 total Portland axons enhottenated in one day by Cherry Cotton, Reed College guy, and I. Of the two we "missed", the Clackamas one didn't even ring when we were there, and the Greenwood Inn one was at a bad time for me.

Now if only they'd accept me as part of the band of the Apocalypso, my life would be complete... I mean, I had my guitar out there and everything! Crying or Very sad
