Well...

I set out for MoGA this afternoon, planning to make the axons and get 'em enhottenated.

8 miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic and 20 minutes to go... not good.

I called JT Taylor from round 2 axons to assist earlier today... And he made it. Unfortunately, he only got the 1547 call.

You know, I have been waiting for the live call for 3 weeks now, diligently manning my post and answering the phones.

Well, he got it. ARGH! He is now Ensign James Taylor, and I'm still some putz with no rank. (hehe!) I made sure to congratulate him but, I must admit, I'm not-so-secretly jealous.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow... depends how rough work is tonight.

If it makes you feel any better Genie, i didn't receive a live call today. I was hoping that Mel might've established a precedent of making the first call a live one, but i digress.

Traveled 170 miles, accessed 1 axon, found the correct question/answer (wasn't too tough), and then i phoned it in via a friend.

It was my first time answering the first axon. Though it was a bit stressful, i think the PM's took pity on me and made this week's question rather obvious. Dragonrider was ecstatic. ^_~

Good work on getting so many of the axons everyone, i'm continually amazed at the efforts of all my fellow beekeepers.

vortech, apparently the "cancelled" axons DO keep ringing. a number of people have gotten them in the past three rounds.

In that event, however, I still recommend doing something else since it won't be a live call nor advance the game. (Though it might be the first conformation that the other 2 phones are the ones upstairs)

I actually think I'm going to try to be a all of the GA calls except Macon. with the later times I should be able to get out to MoGA without dealing with the traffic. (Plus I would really like to see all 5 of those hot for once, if just to be sure we know what phones are ringing.) Then again there could be one drop of rain and the entire highway is shut down. It is Atlanta.

GRRR! They make it so that i'll be unable to be present at both Dothan and Mobile Axons.... that is, unless i had a Forerunner artifact that warped space-time for me.

In any case, Ya'll can count on Dothan being accounted for. With the extrapolation of last week's info, i'll either get Mobile on Wed, or my friend Bad English will get it on Saturday.

What are we Georgia Beekeepers up to in the city? Has anyone made plans for MoG or Midtown? My boss is out sick today, I may be able to squeeze in an axon or two

Well, once again I was 3/5 for MoGA today.

JT showed up late and we took the pictures... but we were not aware that all that was needed was rank-and-file pictures. So, our "personalized" pictures do us no good.

I won't be able to get any more pictures today, but I did my level best.

Hopefully we'll make the deadline...

Uh, yeah. Weird day. I took a lot of pictures in a lot of different hats (That's SUPER mario 3 to YOU) picked up midtown and P2. I was absolutely abysmal at enhotenating Perimeter mall. I was alone so we missed all of the upstairs calls right off that bat, and due to a screaming child the answer was not accepted for one call and because I was talking to mell another call went unanswered.

Ah well, at least georgia fielded a few group shots. Good job MoGA and Macon.
