Our logo, if we have one, should have the bee phone sticker graphic on it (hint, who has a link to it?).

If I can't get the day off, I will be at the last four in SF: 17:39, 17:45, 17:49 and 17:54. With my Canon PowerShot Smile

Ceantari,

Your bee artwork (the one HitsHerMark is using at CafePress) is the absolute best! Is it all right with you if we use it for the SF/Bay Area Team Logo?

Ariock has a cool idea. It involves using Ceantari's logo and something else. It's hush-hush right now! heheh. PM me if you are dying to know what it is. Wink

Another idea for a name for the team: The Truth Seekers

Totally you guys!

Also, I will SKIP my first class on Tues and join you guys from 15:57 and onto the last one at 17:54! Woot! ^_^

Currently, I'm in progress on a bee's head in Photoshop (using the faithful pen tool). I'll post it up for all some time soon.

Well, that's a relief. In case anybody wants to know, arranging sticker bees on a bay map looks really dorky. At least the version I came up with does. Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the heads up, but that isn't the idea! Though, that IS a good idea, if it didn't look dorky! Laughing

I am in the process of culling from DarkForge's spreadsheet and the Berkeley and Palo Alto locations are in the same order as last week, though the times are different. Both the locations and times for SF are different, of course. Rolling Eyes

EDIT: Ok, it was only the first 3 that changed for SF. After that, the locations were in the same order as last week. I know this is only important to me, so why am I telling you guys? Smile

You're quite welcomed, hmrpita!!!
Very Happy
Me just gonna be making logos while animating through this weekend.

Guys, email me some suggestions, ideas, comments regarding the logo making. Perhaps we should decide on a color theme for the logo(s) and what represents (like significant icons) SF and/or the BA? How many groups are there in the SF/BA? Should we all have the same logo with some indication of different division (groups) or different logos all together? Totally email me or IM. ^_^

Love you guys.

possibilities

So since I'm not able make most of the axons, but will still be infront of a computer all day, I'll be the team operator/relay person just like last week. I think this will work if all we are coordinating is information.

If we need to send picture files back and forth, that's a different story. Two possibilities.

1. Camera phone that can email pic files. Low quality, but very quick.

2. Digital camera w/ wi-fi enabled laptop. Find the nearest hotspot and go back there when you need to upload pics from the field.

Any other suggestions?

Ranger D -- we're trying to coordinate this large-scale on the PASSPHRASE PREPARATION FOR NEXT WEEK THREAD. Could you pop over there so we're all in synch?

I think teams should still be able to rely on their local axon coordination folks. This can save folks on the road from carrying around 15 phone numbers, esp. if there's a shift change while they are on the road. Let folks sort out locally how they will get information to the forum information collecotrs.

Ah the fun. They've got most of the Palo Alto axons going on when I have to work >< I can make the 11:33 PA location and bring my camera with me. Won't be able to upload any pictures until 4PM though.

Team Name

Melissa seems to like the word "squad."

The Mod Squad?

The Truth Squad?

Special Forces Squad (SFS)?

SP Squad? Wink

Does anybody else have any ideas/comments/suggestions? Ok, maybe not suggestions, unless they are nice!

P.S. Ceantari, is the miner's pick like a pickaxe, for axon? I think what you are working on now might be a little too "busy" for the application ariock was suggesting to me. The simpler, the better, more along the lines of your original bee at CafePress. Smile Thanks for designing the logo!

Random

I posted about an idea for bee balloons in another forum.

It sounds like we have Ranger D to coordinate any pass phrases for Tuesday, and to coordinate with Phaedra to make sure that if we have any info it gets distributed to the rest of the crew.

Can anyone think of anything else we might need?

RangerD, do you have enough numbers to keep everyone informed? anyone you are missing? you should probably PM anyone in an area that hasn't contacted you yet.
