[EMAIL] Head of PR at TT

Sent this:

Hi,
I working as part of a team making a tv documentary about the recent phenomenon of reality television and wanted to do a portion on your show 'Dread House'. Now, I know there's been a bit of controversy about this issue and I was wondering if you'd like to have your chance to tell your side of the story. If you could just reply with a statement we can use as an official quote, that would be great!
Thanks,
Tom

Got an automated response of:

Thank you for your interest in Tomorrow's Talk Studios. We're very busy producing today the programs people will be talking about tomorrow!

Due to early publicity about our latest show, Your Money or Your Wife, I have been deluged with press inquiries. Rest assured that your email will soon receive the attention it deserves.

If your communication is of an urgent nature, please feel free to call our studios at 718-250-4171.

Thank you, again, for your interest.

Sincerely,
Lucy Jenner
Director of Corporate Communications
Tomorrow's Talk Studios

Hopefully I'll hear more tomorrow.

Lucinda replied to my email today.

Quote:

Dear (removed my name):

At this time, Urban Hunt is in casting, and I am unable to release
specific details regarding the mechanics of the game.

Tomorrow's Talk Studios has never produced a show called "Dread House" or "House of Dread". Every so often, the urban legend of which you speak rears its ugly head. It's company policy not to publicly address rumor and innuendo. We feel it's not in our best interest to give such nonsense additional attention.

Reality television is a competitive business, and it's likely that rumor
was started by our competition.

Thank you for your interest.

Sincerely,
Lucinda Jenner

Here's my original email.

Quote:

I recently came across the website for the new reality TV show, Urban Hunt (www.urbanhunt.com). The idea intrigues me, but I have a few questions as to how this will work.

For instance, how will we, the online advisors, be able to interact with the
contestants? Will this be through a SMS text system, or will the advisors
also have access to some sort of video footage of the contestants and
their surroundings?

I also came across some disturbing information after reaching your site. A
further search led me to info about a reality TV series called "Dread
House. The info i pertained said that contestants and crew members died
in a Minnesota mental institution over a year ago.

Any information you can give is greatly appreciated.

i already posted this in the thread regarding lucy jenner... but i should again here maybe:

although there is an oddity though...

i mailed this:

> Hello Ms. Jenner,
>
> Are you the same Lucy Jenner that starred in the movie Patient 14, I just
> loved that film, and I would very much like an autograph?
>
> Greetings,
>
> Kristiaan Pipijn

i got the autorespons back as posted above as well which states

Sincerely,
Lucy Jenner
Director of Corporate Communications
Tomorrow's Talk Studios
(ljennerSPLATtomorrowstalk.com)

Lucy Jenner was also the name in the From part of the mail

later this afternoon i got a real respons:

Dear Kristiaan:

I'm afraid you have me confused with someone else.

Sincerely,
Lucinda Jenner

now she mentions her given name Lucinda Jenner
this time it says Lucinda Jenner in the From part of the mail, but it came from the same adress ljennerSPLATtomorrowstalk.com

I sent LJ an e-mail, simply attempting to be more involved in this game:

To which I replied:
I apologie sincerly. It is just that I came into possesion, through an internet contact, of some documents bearing the mark of Tomorrow's Talk Studios, with filming plans for an area of the Cambridge Mental Hospital. The were marked with the title "House of Dread". As this would obviously be an issue that you or I would now wish to leave alone, I have destroyed said documents.

Thank you for your time,
XXXXXXX White
