I have finished mapping out the closest kinkos to each axon. If you have
a "live" call, take a photo and need it sent, I can direct you there.

I also called kinkos and this is the info for ALL kinkos locations:

Cellphones-
If you do not have the capabilties to email a pic you MUST have a USB
cable to hook up to their PCs. The use of these PCs is .20 a minute.
Edit: If you can send a picture, phone to phone, call me and I
will give you a # to send it to.

Digital Cameras-
There are two options here. The first is the same as for cellphones. You
must have a USB cable and pay .20 per minute. Important note here,
their PCs do not support the XD Memory Stick.
If you do not have a USB cable you can go for option two which also does
not support the XD Memory Stick. You connect your camera to their Sony
Picture Station and for 4.99 they will burn you a CD which you place into
a PC that costs .20 per minute.

At it's worst, this would cost you 6-8 dollars including tax.

I will give you my contact info and you can email it to me and I will
forward it to the proper authorities.

My cat's getting to be a star! Very Happy

I've been chatting with AngriBuddhist in PMs. He has my contact info and will be coordinating with anyone who needs me to relay pictures.

As noted, I'll be getting my direct call and can possibly head over to the Cap Hill area as support for AM calls if necessary.

I believe I've secured a digital camera for Tuesday's enhottenation. It's an older camera and I don't know if I'll have the connection equipment to upload photos before Tuesday night, so if it turns out that photos need to be processed IMMEDIATELY, I may have to make an emergency hand-off of the camera to someone (my axon is at 11:29, I have work at approx. noon).

Also, for the sake of furthering the back-story for our squad....
if I get "recruited", I'm Commander Safety Monkey, from the Naval Corp. of Engineers. My pal Doc (drevilq37) and I work together, and are happy to form the Fix-It Squad. Doc is a nickname because he's a ship's medic, and I'm not exactly sure where Safety Monkey came from, but I imagine it has something to do with monkey wrenches.

..... Okay, I got really excited at the opportunity to create a background story for myself. Sue me.

If quick responses are neccessary and if you and kidk are willing, could he
meet you, proccess the photo and get the camera back to you somehow?

I know that's asking alot from either of you but I just had to get it out there.

I can try for the three empty Capitoil Hill axons. Getting the first two may be tricky, since they are only 20 minutes apart. I can also try to be present at the 12:10 point, depending on the distance. I won't have a camera with me, unless I can come up with something tomorrow.

10:55 PDT (47.623333 -122.311111): INACTIVE ((________)) Capitol Hill. Republican & 15th, outside Wallgreens. Note: GPS coords are 1 block off (info by kidk & Wynn)
11:15 PDT (47.615284 -122.314271): INACTIVE ((________)) Capitol Hill. Pine & 14th, outside convenience store (on Pine) (info by Wynn)
12:10 PDT (47.619909 -122.320938): INACTIVE ((Astrec)) Capitol Hill. Broadway & John, outside Subway (info by Wynn)
12:24 PDT (47.621025 -122.312609): INACTIVE ((________)) Capitol Hill. E side of 15th, between Harrison and Thomas (info by kidk & Wynn)

Also, I can hit the Redmond axon, if needed. I will probably be there anyway.

I also contacted AngriBuddhist about assisting in the coordinatioin.

If we need to turn things around in a hurry, I'll probably head towards the cap hill area for at least a couple of the axons. Maybe I'll drag along my laptop and look for a free hotspot and camp out close enough to do postings/emailings from there.

Sure, sure. I could hand it off to him and we could meet up again to get it back either late Tuesday night or on Wednesday sometime.

You know, Angri, you might want to tell people *not* to call you between 14:00 (2 pm) and 14:30 (2:30 pm) just in case, so that your phone isn't tied up when Melissa calls.

I'm stuck at work again, so I'll be watching the forums for updates during the day. It's too bad since I'd take my digital camera and laptop w/wireless to all the axons if I could.

Let me know if there's anything else I could do (non-phone related since I'm normally using it).

I have a camera and I'll be at the Factoria axon tomorrow. I'm close enough to work that I can just return there to use the computer and upload the pictures (probably 20 minutes later).

I have a feeling that so late in the day, I may not even get a live call, but I'll be prepared. There's also a Kinko's across the street from the axon, so if need be, I can run over there and upload.

Will there be a 'hotline', so to speak in case relay codes are needed?

Also, here's a few entries for the Rainier Co. logo.

I just slapped 'em together, so let me know if improvements should be made.[/img]

I've been checking out the action in of "axon coordination" threads and
one thing quickly jumps out at me. There is not a centralized spot that
they keep their axon times or descriptions. Because of that, there seems
to keep complete chaos every Tuesday. I'm so glad we don't have to deal
with that. Thanks Wynn!!!

Ok, let's see...

mykie, I PMed you my contact info. Feel free to call me before your axon
to check for updates and please do so if you have anything to report.

SuperDiamond, kidk, I know that Atsrec is planning on being at the Capitol
Hill axons, even the ones that his name is not next to. The more the
merrier though.

kidk, what do you think about Safety Monkey's camera idea? There is
also an internet cafe on the E. side of Broadway about a block North of
John St. It's .10 per minute.

Tien_Le, good point, DO NOT CALL ME BETWEEN 2:20 AND 2:30.

It is going to be repetive but later today I am going to put up another
post to clarify what's available on Tuesday.
