After speaking with AngriBuddist it looks like my friends and I are hitting up the broadway, fremont, Udistrict and queen anne phones. And there's a 90% chance we'll have a digicam.

See you at the Queen Anne phones then.

This is the best I can do with my feeble software and ability.

[edit] And oh by the way, does anyone have a complete list of our members? [/edit]

I have a list of Beekeepers from Wa. that have posted at Unforums. This is
of course not complete. I have PMed all of them with minimal response.
I'll post everyone that I know though.

Here is what I will be doing as an "Operator" on Tuesday.

1. Monitoring Unforums for information pertaining to axons (relay codes).
2. Relaying information between team members and Unforums.
If you have a "relay code", call me and I will post it. If there is a new
"relay code", I will call you with it.
3. Giving directions to axon hunters who are unfamiliar with locations.
This will be a first time for a few and when help is needed just call.
4. Locating the nearest kinkos for axon hunters who need to transfer
digital pics from phones or cameras. This might be part of a puzzle so
quick responses could be neccessary.
5. Providing an email address to send pics to and then relaying them
to Unforums. (Help testing this prior to Tuesday would be appreciated).
6. Coordinating with anyone who is willing to be "Support". I don't know
how likely it will be this week but Melissa is pushing the teamwork issue.
It can't hurt to be prepared. If Melissa says "You must get a crew member
to these coords in 20 minutes" we should be ready.

If I have overlooked anything that needs to be addressed or you would
like to coordinate on Tuesday, PM me.

I have a idea. Why not use a voice mail for the teams. If someone could offer up there voicemail for there cellphone, everyone could just call the voicemail to see if anything has changed.

It would be perfect since we all have cellphone to call the voicemail, and if you do not you are right next to a payphone when you answer the axon.

I completely understand the voicemail idea but what if something new
pops up? What if we have to go beyond "relay codes"? What if you get
a live call, have to take a pick of something witha digicam and need to
know where to go to get it sent? What if you need to get another team
member to perform some strange Melissa request?
As I am willing to do this for the day, what's the difference between
making a call to a voicemail or to me?

Beyond that, is there anyone willing to use a cellphone or digicam and
send a pic to me so I can run a test on posting it to Unforums?

Also, Wynn, SafetyMonkey PMed me and said he'd be at the 11:29
Ballard axon. He's working on getting a digital device.

I can drop you a picture. Let me know where you want it sent to.

I finally got around to replying to my PMs that were building up. Smile

I'm curious if Melissa is going to request pictures of specific items to be sent? Something like "take a picture of a bus and send it to x" or whatever along those lines.

I have finished mapping out the closest kinkos to each axon. If you have
a "live" call, take a photo and need it sent, I can direct you there.

I also called kinkos and this is the info for ALL kinkos locations:

Cellphones-
If you do not have the capabilties to email a pic you MUST have a USB
cable to hook up to their PCs. The use of these PCs is .20 a minute.
Edit: If you can send a picture, phone to phone, call me and I
will give you a # to send it to.

Digital Cameras-
There are two options here. The first is the same as for cellphones. You
must have a USB cable and pay .20 per minute. Important note here,
their PCs do not support the XD Memory Stick.
If you do not have a USB cable you can go for option two which also does
not support the XD Memory Stick. You connect your camera to their Sony
Picture Station and for 4.99 they will burn you a CD which you place into
a PC that costs .20 per minute.

At it's worst, this would cost you 6-8 dollars including tax.

I will give you my contact info and you can email it to me and I will
forward it to the proper authorities.

My cat's getting to be a star! Very Happy

I've been chatting with AngriBuddhist in PMs. He has my contact info and will be coordinating with anyone who needs me to relay pictures.

As noted, I'll be getting my direct call and can possibly head over to the Cap Hill area as support for AM calls if necessary.

I believe I've secured a digital camera for Tuesday's enhottenation. It's an older camera and I don't know if I'll have the connection equipment to upload photos before Tuesday night, so if it turns out that photos need to be processed IMMEDIATELY, I may have to make an emergency hand-off of the camera to someone (my axon is at 11:29, I have work at approx. noon).

Also, for the sake of furthering the back-story for our squad....
if I get "recruited", I'm Commander Safety Monkey, from the Naval Corp. of Engineers. My pal Doc (drevilq37) and I work together, and are happy to form the Fix-It Squad. Doc is a nickname because he's a ship's medic, and I'm not exactly sure where Safety Monkey came from, but I imagine it has something to do with monkey wrenches.

..... Okay, I got really excited at the opportunity to create a background story for myself. Sue me.

If quick responses are neccessary and if you and kidk are willing, could he
meet you, proccess the photo and get the camera back to you somehow?

I know that's asking alot from either of you but I just had to get it out there.
