 		Wynn and I tried for the 9:21 cute_little_caps but were still unable to find the correct phone. We'll probably do some recon when we head back downtown later today.

We did manage to hit the 9:59 my_family. Again, Wynn is the keeper of the maps and will post the exact locale. In this case, lat/longs matched pretty well and there was only one phone in the immediate area that worked (by the Bagle Deli).

 		Seattle Axon Locations
Kidk and I attacked Capitol Hill today and enabled 4 more axons on the day. I'm a little disappointed that nobody attempted these during the week, and we didn't see anybody else out today. But at least we got em.

Here's a summary of all the Seattle axons I know of, which is useful since ALL of these will repeat next round as well.

  • 47.615233, -122.322202 : NEVER FOUND. [Spec]SCCC? Maybe inside, maybe outside SE of building
  • 47.572018, -122.171355 : Factoria Mall - outside Target
  • 47.623333, -122.320833 : NEVER FOUND. Broadway & Republican. [Spec] There is a payphone at Toreros in Broadway Market, which is the city block to the SW of this corner. However, Broadway Market doesn't open until 10am, so this round will not be able to get access to this phone. There is also a bank of 3 elsewhere in Broadway Market, but there is major construction going on inside and those are inaccessible. Kidk has a great pic of this Smile
  • 47.621025, -122.312609 : E side of 15th between Harrison and Thomas
  • 47.624167, -122.320556 : Phone booth Mercer & Broadway
  • 47.623333, -122.311111 : Republican & 15th, outside Wallgreens. Note, gps coords are 1 block off Sad
  • 47.619909, -122.320938 : Broadway & John, outside Subway
  • 47.680946, -122.125330 : Redmond - Outside Bella Botega movie theater
  • 47.624746, -122.345514 : ? (Kidk and I did not attempt this because there is a major concert festival in the area this weekend and it would be hellish)
  • 47.615284, -122.314271 : Pine & 14th, outside convenience store (on pine)
  • 47.668750, -122.385527 : ?
  • 47.624722, -122.354750 : ?
  • 47.668777, -122.384333 : ?
  • 47.649861, -122.349666 : ?


Please post if you have detailed location of any of the question marks. I know someone activated 4 of them!

 		The new axons are out, and now there are 16 axons in Seattle. Below is a .rtf with maps for the axons.

Is anyone going to try to get to some of them tommorow.

 		Genom - if you can, let people know here which ones you are definitely going to try so, if schedules are tight, others with a little time can focus on ones you aren't planning to get to. It's not a binding commitment, because things do come up, but it can be a labor-saving bit of info...

 		I really do not know which onces I am going to go after. Most likely I will be at the onces near Capital Hill and the one near the Fremont bridge.

 		I'll get the 14:53 / Your_Fault. It's somewhere around 1st and Madison; since I work at 4th & Madison, it shouldn't be a big deal. If I don't find the payphone today, I'll be able to keep going until I find it. I may also be able to get the 14:29 run_For_cover, but probably not until tomorrow. (It's at 4th & Pike.)

devolver, I'm trying for the 14:53 site as well. Additionally, I'm going to try the 15:09 on 1st and Washington, since it's only 5 blocks and 5 stoplights away. Glad you're doing the 4th and Pike site because that's an area I'm not willing to spend time standing around. So I hope I see you.

I'm planning to get the 17:11 Redmond location, as it's just a few blocks from my house.

 		I'm not going to be able to get to the 12:37 Factoria one until Wednesday if anyone is around to hit it today. If it's not lit tomorrow, I'll get it then.

 		I'm going to try and track down the axon in the U-District (12:05). It appears to be at University Way and NE 43rd. Either it's the payphone in front of the China First restaurant, or one of the 4 phones in the University Bookstore.

I'm not opposed to joining a Zerg rush on the Capitol Hill axons, either.

I made it to the 12:37 axon for retirement at Factoria. It was my first activation and I was very happy to see that it helped unlock our first sound byte. Laughing

 		I got the 14:29 at the corner of 4th & Pike, right outside The Sharper Image. It's worth noting that the phone said "Outgoing calls only" on it, but it still rang. I'm glad I decided to give it a few minutes, since I almost left when I read that ....
