I've already submitted pictures as a mechanic.

I'm also listing crew members that have been accepted in visual confirmation. If Melissa responds and accepts your photo, tell me your name and rank and specialty.

I took a picture at the Ballard axon (I'm inside Tully's right now). I'll post it in the pictures thread when I get home.

Hey, I got a question. Me and my bro made it to the axon, but we didn't get a live call. Can we still send in the pictures we took? If so, what should we say in the e-mail?

Oh, BIG thanks to AngriBuddhist! You rock man!

Oh man. To think, there was a live call, and I was LATE for it. I unfortunately spent too long looking up info on the internet, and subsequently being delayed by other annoyances, I was running on foot to the 15:03 axon. I was looking at my cell phone, and it was time, and I still had to enter Husky Stadium. From the way I came in, there was a large white tent blocking my view of the payphones, and I was hoping to dear God that drevilq37 was there. And, luckily, he was.

I slouched against the other nearby phone, and gave him a thumbs up. He then let's her know that the other crewmember has arrived. He hands me the phone.

"Crewmember, you are LATE."
"I know, I'm sorry, it won't happen again."
"You're right. It won't. Why were you late?"
"Ahh, traffic was really bad on the way here."
"I have heard much better excuses than that before."

We talk some more, and luckily after hearing my name, she's amused.

"Why do they call you that?"
"Well, I'm a bit of an idealist..."
"Do you attack windmills?"
"Oh, occasionally."
"Are you a dreamer?"
"An IMPOSSIBLE dreamer."
"Perhaps that is why you were late."
(embarassed) "Perhaps."

We exchange info about photos, and I give her my cell number and permission to broadcast are discussion. I told her that I was a Data Systems Engineer, and when prompted about what I do, I mentioned that I make websites. She's intrigued, and so I explain them to her. She quickly makes the connection to the Killer, and I tell her that we know her name is Dana, and last we knew she was in Japan. I try to tell her she's not a threat, but of course she thinks otherwise. There's some "I love bees" chanting, and I'm quickly prompted for my name, rank (Lt. Jr.) and number all again. We seem to work things out, and she asks to speak to drevilq37 again.

There was also a part where she said "We will call you (something) Quixote." I couldn't hear her, but I still told her okay. So, uhm, we'll see what comes of that.

EDIT: _Ghost_, yes, you can. She's even taking pictures from people who didn't get any call.

I submitted a rank and file pic in the pictures thread, though I was prepared for any of the other slots if there was space left. Melissa accepted it just recently. In the e-mail, I identified myself as:

I just emailed this to Melissa.

In the state of Washington, on the North American continent, we
have taken your suggestion and organized into a large group. We are
coordinating statewide and as of now have 19 members. Five of them
are "confirmed" crew members and eight were able to "visually confirm"
their skills as a valuable crew member. We are coordinated, decisive,
flexible, and equipped.

I would like to present them to you and let you know that we too are
ready for any missions you see fit to present us.

Hey all, gotta be brief, im at work.

had a great time yesterday! i was so surprised by the live call, im glad quixote showed up, melissa wanted me to lecture him about being late.

sorry about the 16:16 axon, i actually did perform a matrix-style move to get there on time...but some lady was using the phone!

15:32 went off without a hitch, got to talk to devolver for a few minutes.

i sent in 3 pictures (me, safetymonkey, devolver) around 6:30 but got no response.

we should definitely get a big group together next week

Great idea AngriBuddhist. Hopefully this will help us non-confirmed crew members not have to jump through hoops on the live calls.
