You can check off the ones by the parking garage... I checked those awhile back (when Vegas first got axons), no ring...

Ones by the museum, no ring...

All that's left are the ones by the convention rooms... unless they try the ones by the parking garage again...

Will check tomorrow, had to go to an orientation today....

Heads up, guys.

New coordinates on the new page (comatas):

36.099196 -115.172968

Looks like it's in front of/in the Excalibur (or possibly the Tropicana).

17:45
17:57
18:11
18:15
18:17

Then we've got our favorite coordinates still there:

36.114761 -115.172868 (Bellagio)

17:35
17:41
17:47
17:53

Can we possibly break our losing streak???

I have to work tomorrow night, but I'm going to try to get out of it somehow to check out the Excalibur.

Sad a day late and a dollar short...So that means we need to check all the phones we already ruled out... the good news is i saved a ton of money on my auto insurance :groan: Cursing Crying or Very sad Bang Head Confused

PS i typed in the address of the excalibur( the one off their website) and it didn't come back as the one on comatas page... so yeah ... you 2 are much better at all this then i am so i wait for your input

I abso-freakin-lutely can't believe it! Bang Head

I was sure I'd found THE new phone, but noooooooooooooooo.

An am/pm mini mart exactly on the coordinates, according to the maps, with a lone payphone calling my name in the parking lot. Checked it, it took incoming calls.

Did it ring? Of course not!

Sooooo, I went inside the Excalibur, my favorite of all the posh casinos, where nobody who stays there can afford cellphones, so they're all using the payphones! Grrrumble.

One bank near the front entrance. I staked it out for the second phone call. Nothing, although 3 of the 6 phones were in use by the swanky clientele.

Two more banks of phones in the casino, near the tower entrances, but the noise was so bad, and the phones so soft that there was no way I could've heard them.

So, I head back to the am/pm, just in case. Sat through the last three times. No ring. No love.

But on the plus side, I had a lovely dinner courtesy of am/pm mini-mart. Mmm. Corn dogs and Mountain Dew. I love Vegas, baby.

But I'm not bitter. Rolling Eyes

I am off wed. so i am going to go during the day and find what phones i can for the trop coordinate.....i really dont think excalibur or trop are part of them...but i will check anyways..

i'll mark down what pay phones i can,, i know the owner of exc. so i will check for unknown payphones..

I'll come back home mid day and post what payphones i found and where they are. hopefully this will help you guys cover more phones since there is not much time between rings. post any payphones you plan on checking so i do not check twice and off we will go.. between 5:45 and 6:17....

i'll stay away from the flamingo coordinate bc i know you guys have already found most of the payphones..so just list any you dont have time to re-check and i can check those on thursday...

fun fun fun Wink

Grrr.... well, you can cross off the phones by the convention rooms....
Did find another set by the Wedding chapel... this is starting to feel like a red herring search at the bellagio... how go those other axons on the other side of the strip by excalibur?

I'm at a loss, really....

There comes a time...I quit after three attempts at poorly-coordinated phones near me. At some point we are not responsible for Melissa's inability to provide good coordinates.

36.099196 -115.172968 Geocodesexactly to 3850 LV Blvd. S, which is indeed the Excalibur Hotel. Geocode link here.

Bang Head

OK, so......

Can't really rule any out there, since there were so many people using them last time.

Sigh.

OK, I'm still going to head out there tonight. I figure with 5 different ring times, I can eliminate at least a few.

Oh, as an aside, the phone number for the Excalibur is 702-597-7777.

Hmmm. Maybe call the main switchboard and ask if they've been getting these calls?

With so many 7-11's, AM/PM's and other quiki marts - she could have pick more obvious targets. Las Vegas strip addresses are just not feasible.

How about the payphones at my hospital??? I'd figure out how to answer those for you (just clue me into the proper code phrase).
