I believe that Jan Dad was a spartan(whether 2 or 1 remains to be seen) or a helljumper. I believe that certain abilities were passed down genetically. In Code_Nothing he says he served with the best, and he doesn't seem to be much of an exagerator either. he prob isn't allowed to talk too much about his unit. Of course if this guy is a spartan 2, there wouldn't be to many war buddies left (if any at all) Of course if he is a spartan 2, then the humans won the war. But I still think that they'd be a spartan 1, simply because the covenant talk. None. There is no Covenant talk. Imagine a Spartan "exagerating" his kills. I can imagine the convo.

Pvt. Johnson: I had 1,000 I think covie kills easy. Those little bastards never stood a chance against me.
Spartan: 167,895 kills. I kept count.

Yah I stick with how "truth" has something to do with this, now I think it's almost certain that jersey and durga are listening in on the 2 other situtations.

I thought it was generally accepted that axons were the Operator branching out through communications, attempting to contact her "Crew" in hopes of getting information and status reports to repair herself.

If the Seeker is taking over these functions, then the axons might be for a more diabolical purposes. After all, one of the first practices of any kind of hostile takeovers (war, revolution, invasion, etc.) is the seizing and control of communications.

As for Spec, that's what I believe. The Seeker/Flea is using Melissa's attempts for simple communication to branch out over our communications systems.

I'm sorry, I still don't see the point in posting theories here when there are perfectly good threads discussing it already. The topic is so general this could easily skyrocket into a big thread anyway. I get the impression you're just using it as a vehicle to make sure your own theories are heard? having everyone shout their pet ideas at top volume doesn't solve anything, having a long and informed discussion does. At any rate, I'll shut up now, because this is totally [META] and not related to the wavs' content.

There are so many people posting multiple times across multiple threads with the same information (often the same exact post, verbatim), in order to be heard, that they are not being heard.
