Real goes between awful_fast and creepy, I think.

Having listened to real, I can happily say that yes this is indeed where real goes.

As for the whole OT thing that I supposedly started, well I'm sorry if I caused trouble, I honestly didn't think I was OT. But now I know...

Is "stupid cop" also Aiden's cop "friend"? I don't believe so, but what's the general concensus?[/quote]

I don't think they're the same either. Thanks for bringing this up, cos I just assumed they were! "stupid cop" has a bit of a NY accent, which I can't detect on Aiden's cop friend. That's what my ears tell me anyway.

-Malrog is still learning how to use the forums, obviously.

Not to mention that the cop helping out Aidan obviously has plenty of shady friends and knows how to sell his position, while the stupid cop would probably take him down for being like that. The former is corrupt, and the latter, while breaking the law, is presumably doing so to clean up the people he can't get normally.

At least, that's the case if the guy who got shot was actually doing something wrong. The cop might just be utterly insane. We probably won't be able to tell until the next round of clips.

My spec: Melissa is assuming -- probably incorrectly, unfortunately for her -- that whatever brought her back in time also brought her entire ship and crew back in time. She is still hoping that they are alive out there, somewhere, looking for her, even after the shipwreck that dumped her on ILB.

Agreed. However, if Durga is Melissa, she might be drastically wrong. Durga arrives in Jersey's system mysteriously, then asks where she is "on board," indicating that she was probably a ship's AI previously unless this is a common term for platforms AIs are loaded on. It's possible she was thrown back in time after that point, which would mean her crew is long gone, but the reflection (or the Flea's interference) could make it impossible for her to see that.

I think I'm straying off-topic, though. Confused

In short, I wonder whether we'll actually get a satisfactory answer to the above question, since time travel is unlikely to be a major part of Halo 2.
