Wow, "Melissa" must be watching us pretty closely. Careful what you say guys Wink

I'm trying my hardest to get through to anybody for the 11:11PDT thin_kinkle up in Moscow, ID. It's proving to be more difficult than I had thought.

Yes we can! I made a copy of the page yesterday. As I noted above, the 6:49 location had changed as of this morning. It was not hot at 11:07 PDT when I posted the change in the location. Now it appears to be hottenated. It was second from left on the bottom line. Curiouser and curiouser? What did Melissa do here? I won't complain I wanted to hear this clip! Maybe SP did it for us while Melissa was distracted!

So somebody in Chapel Hill caught the change this morning and took care of it. WTG.

OK, looks like I've got somebody now in Moscow who's going after the 11:11 fable round axon there tomorrow (along with the 6:31 and 10:43 comatas round axons). That should get us thin_kinkle. That is if it's a good axon, as it's never been found ... well, OK never even been looked for before. I'll let you know as soon as I have more info.

No! It was not marked as hot at 11:07 PDT. They would have had to answer the phone at 6:49 PDT, four hours earlier. Axons usually show up hot in minutes. I know it is not a "relode" issue, because that is when I first looked at it this morning, and that is when I noted the change in lcoation. I don't know if it is significant, but it is definitely a change from how things have worked in the past. It could be that someone in NC did answer, but still it took a long time for it to get updated then!

EDIT: If I remember correctly (curse this photographic memory), the page listed the hot and cold axons as follows:

H H C H
C H C C
C H C C

Given there was a two minute gap between axons this round, and using the excel spreadsheet xnbomb uplaoded in his previous post, it looks to be the 6:49 axon. Unfortuately, now that it's hot and archived, we can't really know for sure.

Actually, you can -- in a way -- because when Melissa archives, she differentiates between "AXON SUCCESS" and "AXON CANCELLED." Your chart correctly identifies the five axons that she has identified as "SUCCESS."

So, uh, maybe a freebie?

Hello? I need a dozen freebies over here at Union Station?

I suppose a week of work is required before freebies are granted...

the fable axon and the comatas axon

This is what I think happened: the fable axon and the comatas axon were at the same location. Whoever activated the comatas axon activated the fable one at the same time. It may be the way the software is set up...

We've never had the same axons from two different rounds open to getting hot before.

The 10:45 Comatas axon was the same as the old version of the zip axon that went hot. The 10:45 axon went hot in the Comatas list so apparently someone got it. The new coords for the zip axon that came up this morning were not on the Comatas list. Perhaps it was hotted by the getting of the 10:45 as you propose even though it had changed.

Do we actually know if people have been getting all the axons that go hot? We may have been getting freebies early all along!

This is the order of events for that particular axon.

1. In fable.html it originally was a location on Wise, NC. no one got it

2. When the SP' sneak preview of the comatas.html coordinates was released in the killer jpegs last Friday, that axon was still located in Wise, NC. (Note: these are gone now from the jpegs but may be on an old version of a spreadsheet or a list from this forum)

3. When the final comatas.html coordinates came out on Tuesday:

a. that located had been "tweaked" by being moved from Wise, NC to Chapel Hill, NC.

b. At the same time the previous coordinates for the same fable.html axon changed from Wise, NC to Chapel Hill, NC.

4. So when the person (whoever it was hasn't come forward, maybe they don't know of this forum) activated the comatas.html wave the earlier one from fable.html was also activated. That person probably heard both waves but hasn't reported it.

In summary, the axon location was changed for comatas.html after Friday (presumably because it couldn't be enhottenated) and before Tuesday. And when the axon was changed for comatas, it was also changed "retroactively" in fable.html.

Man, for weeks I complained that there were no Axons in New Orleans. When they finally put some up, I go away on a business trip, and then evacuate for Hurricane Ivan!!! If the 11:13 Fable axon (thin_kinkle) is still active on saturday I'll go get it.

I've got somebody going for the 11:11 thin_kinkle on Sat too. But it's a never-been-visited axon, so we'll just hope for the best. That same site is at 6:31 on comatas round, so maybe I'll try to convince him to go for that one.

From the heart of Charlotte, I Thin_Kinkle you!!

Took a late lunch today and decided to stop by the coordinates on my way back. Circled for 10 minutes looking for a spot, found one close and grabbed it. Aack! no change, have to risk it. Went to the approximate coordinates where only 1 phone of two possible existed. Hmm 2 minutes until. Checked for dial tone, good, called the number with cell phone, it rang, good. I doubted this was the phone, but I waited as I kept an eye out for parking attendants. Was that a ring? Listen closer, IT WAS. Calm, answer the phone, listen, apocalypso...apocalypso..(take it, take it)..a-po-ca-lyp-so....."good"
Woo hoo! Axon hot. listened to the sequence without interest, continue, hang up.... and No Ticket!!Wooo!
