Hiro is less than impressed w/ Kamal surgical skills after Kamal cuts up a chicken into eight pieces and Hiro doesn't recognize what pieces are what.

My axons are all re-lit... That means spending more time down at the Best Western with the creepy Bellman and having him think it's my girlfriend calling me... Maybe I should just give up and tell him what it's about...

And the freakin' Downtown Pittsburgh Weston Hotel axon is back! Stupid could be broken phone! What a piece of crap! I can guarantee all of my phones except that one. And that would be under "domestic_skills", the 13:33 entry. Otherwise, I got all the other phones covered. So if we're hung up because of my phone, don't blame it on the Del because I'm trying!

Synopsis of tweaked_up...

Jan is talking about James James with her mother (!!). Mom mentions that she once caught J^2 reading a Navy protocol manual regarding the raising of children. Jan then asks, awkwardly, if she was somehow "tweaked up." She says she knows it's not in the same way that J^2 and her mom were tweaked (double !!), but just a little and mentions that she's been thinking about it since someone she recently met asked her about it (obviously the not-so-stupid cop).

OK, just refreshed the fable page and got an overlay of the "behold the truth reveal the truth" etc. over the page, starting at the top group of axons and going down to the currently calling group of axons. Refreshed again and it's gone. Anybody else seen anything similar?

weephun: I've seen the text a little on the various recipe pages (Bee Sting Cake, the chocolate chip cookies, and the ice cream), though only just one repetition of it at the bottom of the page. It's random...sometimes it's in the source code, sometimes it isn't. I haven't seen it on the fable page yet, though.

The question: "What ship am I confined to?"

I'm confused. If Melissa is actually the AI of the Apocalypso, she really does hate her placement... I mean, to used the word "confined" is harsh.

And if she isn't the ship's AI, then she has to be a guest AI aboard it the Apocalypso. And if that's the case, where's the original host AI of the vessel?

Is it a UNSC vessel?
Or... with a name like that - the Apocalypso - it'd be more like a Covenant ship (since they like using religious/holy/spiritua terms: i.e. Phantoms, Shade, Wraith, Ghost, Banshee, Shadow)?

I'm glad to see Oklahoma City is getting some attention this time around. I'll be hitting the 14:41 your_fault axon in downtown OKC this afternoon. If anyone else is planning on making the trip, here's a little info that might help narrow the search. The GPS coordinates match exactly with the payphone directory's listing for a "Favorites Restaraunt" at 3701 S Western. It's listed as not accepting incoming calls, but I'll check it out just the same. I hope to see someone else there. I'll probably post a report on it later.
