[Hoax] Camera found in the woods

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=144008&st=0

There are 41 pages to the thread and I've only read the first one, but thought it was pretty interesting. It's very rabbit-hole like. Guy finds a digital camera in the woods, downloads the pics, a lot of normal ones but then some creepy ones with glowing eyes and a lurking creature thing on top of a fort. Check it out.

Spooky. Plus I had The Shining on tv in the background, and right when I saw the pic with the wierd glowing eyes, the kid ran into those two creepy twin girls in the hallway.

"Hello, Danny. Come and play with us. Come and play with us forever and ever and ever."

The pictures are really neat, even if they're part of a prank.

No no no, Addy! You were supposed to logout and then post the pics as GUEST like it was YOU who found the camera! Shame on you!

Don't you know how things work around here yet?! Rolling Eyes

[Edit] Okay, post completed & cleaned up

I mention this just to make an "object lesson" for those interested.

The use of the camera during pursuits is awkward. Why was the photographer interested in pictures? To record his (or her) sights in hopes that he survives? Then why not photograph the pursuer? If he was too muddle-headed, why think to photograph at all?
This is a small technical error, granted, and without it the dramatic effect of the photos is diminished, but I think it is bad for ARGs.

Now, when I consider the whole body of stuff going on about this, I doubt that it is the beginning of an ARG. Just a prank

Hmm...I had a constructive comment to make now, but seem to have forgotten it. As this post stands, I just make a few observations, possibly refutable, but accomplishing nothing.

I'll get back...

P.S. Please forgive the idiosyncrasy of this post.

Scary those pictures be...

BTW, only a double post technically. Different comment.

I wasn't able to post earlier; anyway, a day after I saw those pictures I had a dream: I would be outside a house (which has occured in many other dreams), then I would notice that it started becoming dark. I would hurry into the house through the ever-thickening fog, pursued by two terrifiying giant panthers. I had to lock the door as soon as I got in because they were, well, scary. Soon after, I would hear them scratching at the door -- and I could see them through the wall too, like a video game with bad rendering. This whole thing occured several times, then I woke up for a while.

Has anything new happened with this? I thought this was great, creepy, and interesting, and then, like most of these things, just dropped off the face of the planet... Sad

It's been dissected and debunked on other forums.

What I like is the picture of the guy's hand opening the gate to the tower, or whatever that thing is. Does anyone really photograph themselves opening doors? As fake photos go, these aren't that scary.
