Thanks, shad0! I believe the credit for Krystyn is fair in that she cross-pollunated it here, though I am the first to coin it.

I wish I could find the log of the channel when I first blurted it out, though it was a rather amusing conversation about how it's too long to say "make the axon go hot" and we need a shorter word.

Words such as "enlighten" and "hotten" may have also been brought up.

Could we please clear this up, as I want to make sure that I MOCK THE CORRECT PERSON. Bang Head

I keed, I keed. But for the love of pete, can't we just use something with oomph that still qualifies for english? Hows'a bout "Ignite"? There we go.

It could be worse, it could have been "gohotify" or some such nonsense.

We can now establish 3 things:

1. Mykie and Krysten each came up with a great word, on their lonesomes

2. You can use whatever word you want (although I do have a thing for "gohotify")

3. Please, please, please do not use harsh words about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the original verb "to fire"? As in, "I fired 3 axons today!"
