[Sort of HUMOR. Sort of OT. Almost a POLL?] Make an SP Army!

Ok, well I'm not trying to screw up the PMs plans here, but I'm seriously considering mobilizing an army for the Princess, just as the queen has done for herself. I'm wondering if this would be considered off limits, or just crazy enough to work? Lemme know your thoughts...

(By the way, notice that this is NOT a poll... I'm more interested in your thoughts than your "vote".)

But if you all (or at least a majority of you) think this is a good idea, and may give the PMs some creative territory (or if it's harmless enough to ignore) then I'll head something up (through the SP, of course)... But if not, this will sink like a stone with the future updates (I'm sure of it!)

I think it's a great idea. The "crew" can interact with Melissa via the direct calls and the "SP Army" could coordinate generating reports and information about accepted crew via Email to the SP.

Even if the PMs didn't intend this kind of factioning to occur, it's natural human nature. And there are certainly going to be people who believe SP is more "in the right" than Melissa (for whatever reason).

I think you should all do it. In fact, working on a letter to send SP before tomorrow (sending today even) would probably HIGHLY advisable if you wanted a reaction by tomorrow. Wink

Just tell SP you're monitoring OUR chatters Wink

It may be that we don't have to divide at all, that we can somehow all work together to restore Melissa's memories and functions while also eradicating the Flea. The Princess may be needed to that end, since she seems cleverer than him, and seems to enjoy toying with his interest in her.

Not saying your approach won't work, but personally, I'm not feeling a loyalty to either party - there's so much yet to learn about both, and I just hope I don't have to make a hard choice too soon.

I think it's a fantastic idea.

So, how are you going to "rescue" her? Smile

Why not? Melissa's rounding up her crew, why can't the SP? But I also agree with Krystyn to some degree. There's no reason why there should be a complete split, either. I just don't think it would be a good idea for people to be working for both sides at the moment.

To be honest, I think I'm choosing a side out of curiosity more than real hard fact, now... I know that Melissa is deranged, whether she's on the "right" side or not... But the SP seems to be of a full mind, IMO. And the SP has shown no ill will towards anything but the queen herself. And even that is more of a playful spite, more than actual anger or malice. Not to mention, there's only one character that wants to see Dana successfuly evade the Queen, and that's the SP. So I say "SP for Me 2004!" (I can see the buttons and yard posters already...) Rolling Eyes

But ok then... I'll "present my case" to the Princess and we'll see what she has to say about this... But I understand we don't need to do this, or that everyone should. Just that at least a number comprable to the Queens minions should do so... THIS WILL BE FUN!!!! Laughing

So now we're "Queen's Minions?" I like it... Razz not as much as "Officers of the Apocalypso"... but... It's cool.

am I the only one who sees that it makes no sense that Dana wanted us to answer all those axons, basically, helping Melissa, after that fiasco with Melissa wanting to "erradicate" her? kinda strange that she was all about us enhottenating those axons. bizarre.

call me a sucker for a sad story, but after Perdita's story... my loyalties are leaning toward SP. If I had a way to help her, I would jump at the opportunity. Krystyn makes a great point about all working together, but I also get the feeling of deranged from Melissa... she is way off the deep end with her fascinations of revenge. It is plain spooky. Not to mention from what you all who are part of "the crew" have been told about how certain events would NOT have happened aboard her ship. Would she eliminate ex girlfriends, etc for the sake of revenge. I would not want to get on her bad side, but think what she might be capable of if she managed to get hold of Dana or SP... and for what????? Revenge is NOT that sweet.

Yeah, that was my not-so-subtle way of putting us SPers on top! hehe... Laughing

I'm loving this faction stuff WAY too much already and it's not even cemented... Ok, off to write my petition to the princess....

Ok, this was just sent... (forgive my delving into the role-playing a little too much... I love this stuff...)

I've come up with a great
idea, that will be much fun, and still practical, if you wish it...

There's many of us who don't believe that allying with the queen is
good. In fact, those with rank are beginning to sound as if they're
keeping something from the rest of us. I suspect you are in danger,
as is Dana... my prospect is to form our own alliance, to create an
army, where you as Princess would rule. Anyway, may I suggest myself
as your Envoy, that I may carry messages to you to ensure your safety,
as well as dig up the dirt that would tell us what's going on. I've
suggested this idea to some other people helping and they agree with
me. We think the Queen is getting too drunk with power and is growing
too quickly. And I still don't trust the flea's influence on her.
Allow us to be eyes and ears into the queen's minions' alliance.
Anyway, I didn't know what you'd think of this, and I would VERY much
like to hear what you think so we can know to form or not. Let me
know, and I will make the arrangements.

(If the Queen wanted to separate herself from you, she has done so,
but at a great cost!!!!)

your humble envoy, DM

That's sweet, and just the sort of poetic storyline that SP would love.

Great job DM. This, I am looking forward to. I hope you will keep this thread updated when SP contacts you, as I also believe that Melissa has something foul and against the SP in store for her crew. Not to mention, we're here for Dana too.

Don't sit on the side lines. Take initiative. Get involved. It's the only way to ensure that you get a response from the PMs and/or SP.

Just think, if 10-20 people all sent a similar message to SP, then the PMs would be unable to ignore it. Because they would see the theme repeatedly.
