Email from 'Amanda' - 09/13/04

I signed up to Urban Mythology's update page a couple of days ago and after a bit of scrambling I managed to find a pretty decent urban legend involving haunted tunnels that I hoped would entertain Ed. I got this reply back this morning. . . and yeah, looking up the legend a bit more, there's also stories about troglodytes and mole people down in the Tube, too. Maybe it's just a red herring, but it makes me wonder if Tom's got any escaped mental patients down there with him, too.

Dear Flidget,

Thanks for your interest in www.urbanmythology.net. Those ghost stations sound positively creepy. I wonder if the "spirits" people report seeing in them could possibly be the "mole people" in one of the legends on my site... food for thought, anyway.

I'll put your name on my list to be notified when the site is updated.

Sincerely,
Amanda Graves
