Just sent an e-mail to "Amanda" over at UM, trying to get some concrete on the thought she might be Ed Vargas:

I represent one of several people who have been investigating the Dread House "myth" - and slowly uncovering it is no myth. Included are severaldocuments we believe you might be familar with which begin to slowly support or claims. they came from the files of A MAN ED VARGAS - And we believe they are the begining of a trail we must unravel. I'm sending these documents to you for several reasons, not the least of which is for safekeeping, as well as the thought that the story could be incredible if it breaks. We think you might know some of the other reasons.

These files should be considered sensitive. If we're right, people have been killed for them. I am included a few detailed maps of the grounds of the Mental Hospital created by Steve Rowan, and and article about Mr. Rowans death, amongst other things. Hopefully you will begin to see what we see, if you don't already.

There was a thought that if "Amanda" thinks we are willing to help her, she may open up and admit to being ed... the concept is that
AMANDA GRAVES = A MAN ED VARGAS
and if we offer to give him back the info he needs..... well. maybe he will also give us more information. the following is what i sent.

 		I just sent her an e-mail with an urban legend and a hidden message a little while ago, didn't want to outright send the files so I figured I'd wait and see if I got a response:

Amanda,

I just thought I'd drop a line and let you know I've really enjoyed
the site, and the legends are really interesting...especially the
Dread House one which, according to the recent rumor mill, might be
more true than one would like to believe...it's pretty creepy.

Anyway, I thought I'd submit an urban legend that has a bit of local
flavor. Apparently there has been another string of panic inducing
reports going around, this time mostly in the form of fliers placed on
signposts and such locally. From what I've gathered, the basic idea
is that a blue star temporary tattoo has been being sold to local
school children, and reportedly, they have been laced with LSD (I've
also heard strychnine in one or two cases), and that the drugs are
absorbed directly into the skin of the affected children. Some of the
fliers have been attributing the find to a Dr. J. O'Donnell at the
local Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. Probably just a rumor, but
there are some sick people out there. Interestingly, if you
phonetically pronounce the doctor's last name you get O.D. on L.
Anyway, keep up the great work, and maybe we'll get to the bottom of
some of these.

SO, in keeping with my theme of "i know who you are, and you know i know who you are, but we both know you don't want anyone to know i know who you are" i asked for the story up front {she offered it up front} but i coded "HOW CAN I HELP" in hopes for further info... let's join our discussion already in progress:
