big_dog

Transcript of big_dog:

(Sirens in bg)

Wormy gangster: That was real nice what you did for that lady. Not (too) smart, but nice.

Jan James: I'm working on a merit badge.

Wormy gangster: (Laughs) OK sweetie. What's gonna happen to you is gonna happen to you. Just relax. If it makes it any easier, it's nothing personal, okay?

Jan James: Nothing personal.

Wormy gangster: Just business.

Jan James: I don't know. I might have to MAKE it personal.

Wormy gangster: Your funeral. OK angel. Time for you to meet the big dog.

EDIT: for spelling

Union Station Payphone

Here's what's gonna happen tomorrow.

I will show up around 11:50 and put Out of Order signs on that bank of payphones at Union Station.

I wish I had police tape.

I will be there from 12:11 to 12:31.

Any and all help would be MUCH APPRECIATED.

such_pigs transcript

Cortana's transcript of just_pigs:

Jan talking to a vendomat. The vendomat says that she does not understand her question, could she please ask again. Jan says "Oh Bev, you're such a kidder. Coffee's on you tomorrow?" Bev says "I'm sorry, I don't understand your question, could you rephrase." Enter a new voice "Excuse miss, could I ask you something?" Jan "Tell me something, and be honest. Would you go out with that coffee server?" New Guy "..." Jan "what, too heavy?" New Guy "..." Jan "men are such pigs."

transcript of her_hair

Cortana's transcript of her_hair (a conversation between Jan James and the guy I've called Wormy Gangster):

*shuffling*

"Is that how it is? You go with the gun, I slap you around, your face pressed into the sidewalk?"

"You just earned yourself a bullet in the back, bitch!"

"Would that be the guy with the sniper rifle in the building across the street? He has two broken arms."

"Pete?"

"Or how about the girl with the ponytail on the roof backing her up?"

"Marie? Her hair?! You cut off her hair?!"

"it's just you and me, all alone, *lover*"

partial transcript of uvular_implants

Cortana's partial transcript of uvular_implants:

Kamal: thanks for picking me up
Sofia: no problem, sometimes Aiden has late night business
Kamal: So tired. *yawn*
Sofia: Hey now, new chatter for you?
Kamal: Yeah, won it in a raffle. Makes my old one look like a payphone.
Sofia: Payphone?
Kamal: Old decrepit hardware, half of em don't work, bad GPS.
Sofia: huh.

I forgot the rest. Something about K21 Uvular Implants.

Once again, Boise ID, 3 up .. 3 down. We're now working on contacting guys in Moscow (which would help with the thin_kinkle issue also) and Utah (might even have my mom go snag one). Yah, good thing the Pizza Hut manager was a Halo fan, he let Mad Cow in the back way to answer the 8:49PDT call even though the store doesn't open until 10:00PDT. Thanks Justin!!!

I got ahold of a buddy who is up at Moscow for school. Tomorrow he is gonna go for thin_kinkle (said he walks by it every sunday for quiznos) [that axon is across the street from the University of Idaho: Student Union Building]

And he also is gonna try but doesnt promise the 6:31pdt such_pigs... ( a little early)

Also the Lewiston, Idaho axon is just a half hour down a hill so he is going to go for those...

Well the "Uvula" is that little doohicky where the roof of your mouth ends. And "uvulate" is a sound made at about that spot. (You know, that noise Xenia, Warrior Princess, makes when she's jumping around beating the puss outta people.)

So a Uvular Implant probably means that Kamal's new chatter records his voice pretty much at the sourse... It will also make it difficult, if not impossible, for him to say anything in such a way that it would not be picked up by the chatter...

I'm really starting to respect Durga... She is seeeeeeaky!

New information from one of the payphone directories indicates that the South Bay Center axon is *inside* the Super Stop & Shop, at the customer service desk. I'll try that in the morning.

EDIT: To make clear, this refers to an axon in Boston, MA. Sorry for the confusion.

That is quite amusing.

Now... I don't know if this is trout, but does this lend any credence to the (albeit unlikely) idea that the recordings were *not* done all at once? I mean, this seems to be in response to the trouble we're having- not something they initially anticipated.

Just a thought.

This could be. So far the sound files for this set have identical creation and modification dates of Mon. Sept. 13, 2004 at 3:19pm PDT. I've noticed this with previous sets as well, they have modification dates just days before they went live.

I don't mean to detract from the axon reporting. I'm going to try for the 18:23, 18:25 and 18:33 later today. Good luck everyone!

I've got a load of the yellow "CAUTION" tape, but by the time I got it mailed to you it would most likely be too late... shame really, I have about 400ft of it.

On the server? or on your PC?

Have you ever noticed that when you upload/download stuff from an FTP server that the received file timedate stamp is always the time of when the file was downloaded?

I have an FTP server at home, and I download the files at work, then upload them to home. The timedate stamp at home is always the day/time that I uploaded them. And these times are different than the times on my work PC.
