Actually Zerosignifier, the current theory, in my mind, is that the SP was sealed away during the durga stuffs, so memory wipes that happen during and after any period should affect her, she couldn't aquire memory.

So unfortunately, I think our best shot is Kumal, the name Yasmine, and anything pertaining to not eating meat (we know what her faith was/is), I emailed her when I started this thread asking her if she thinks its possible she used to be human, and if the name Yasmine rang a bell, but I haven't seen any sort of response. So maybe someone else should try?

ahh, yes, I forgot she was using our words. But she still had the power to choose which words to use, so I wouldn't discount the connection completely.

Pretty soon here she'll probably find her dads old suit which could start a whole new game with a whole new perspective...

I was under the impression his sister was chosen for the spartan project. He said his sister was always the best and won at EVERYTHING. Sounds a little like how the chief was portayed as being as a child. He also stated she died of a genetic dissorder. In the books, it says that flash clones spartans were replaced with had a high chance of dying from genetic related defects.

Mazian, while SP coming from that cylinder does explain its presance, your quotes attempting to disprove me are faulty, You highlighted the fact that SP states she comes from a glass coffin, but what you ignore is the next paragraph, where she acknoledges she wasn't always in that coffin, thus my theory makes more sence. And why would a forrunner AI be thrown into the middle of space in a cylinder of dense metal? would you expect an AI to be in... ya know... a computer?

Though your post wasn't a complete waste of time, you gave me more ammo for my theory. Check it.

I have a theory as to how SP possibly recieved her name, Sleeping Princess. K, we know she can't remember her real name. What if "SP" in future computer/AI terms is short for "Second Personality", and when the glass coffin (some kind of storage Hard Drive of some sort) broke somehow she was released... then (we all know she's a bit childish at times) doesn't like "SP" as her name so she thinks up a "cute" name. Seeing as how she had been "sleeping" Wink

in a cascet for so long it's easy to see why a girlish peronalty would choose "Sleeping Princess" which is another name for "Sleeping Beauty". (obviously)

Maybe not too helpfull but still a possibility... let me know what you think.
