my_landlady was just solved on the IRC

taken as a touchtone phone. All calls originate from the Operator (0).

North and East are the N and E values. P is which letter from the corresponding number on the phone.

yep. use the N/E as an index into a number key on a mobile phone or touchtone phone, and the P as an index into the letters on the phone.

Cheksum got it:

Touchtone pad
Start at 0 (operator)
Go north 2, east 1, to get to 6 (1:00 = first letter (m))

etc.

Ok, I wanted puzzles, and I'm still exstatic we got puzzles, but I am no good at puzzles. I think I will be Dorkmaster in name, and slowbee in title until I can re-vamp my puzzle skill.

To solve

BEE2_MARGARETPHOTO.JPG: Every call starts with the Queen. She is the point of origin.

and FIGURE.JPG

01:00P N2.00 E1.00
03:00P N1.00 E1.00
03:00P N2.00 E0.00
01:00P N3.00 E0.00
02:00P N2.00 E1.00
01:00P N3.00 E1.00
03:00P N2.00 E0.00
01:00P N3.00 E1.00
03:00P N1.00 E1.00

every call - use a touch tone phone

starts with the queen - start at number 0 (oper) - oper = operator = queen

go North 2 buttons and East 1 button = number 6

1:00 means pick the first letter on that button. in this case it means "m"

Do this for the sequences in figure.jpg and you get "mylandldy" which leads us to "my_landlady.wav"

-checksum

checksum, you rock. I had figured out the grid part, but not the part about the point of origin = operator.

T - U - R - T - L - E Power!

OK, it is probably a little late to mention this, but maybe the name of the thread should be changed to "Hidden WAVs from SP" or something like that... because there has been no new hidden page... Laughing
