SPEC: Mid-Jersey Mobile Mock Up When you first load up the page http://www.synthasia.com/mjm.html it reads, "Use the numbers, to navigate through the site" Then it repeats. The text in the various areas of the site has already been found to be a dummy text called Lorem Ipsum. However, injected in this dummy text there seems to be groups of numbers and a few letters which seem very out of place. I haven't tried much yet, and haven't found anything, but considering what it repeats at the beginning, I've tried using some of these numbers, even translating the letters which they are grouped with into numbers, and dialing them into the phone type thing on the right.
I just wanted to see if anyone else thinks I could be on to something?

Just another thought, there is a log in page,http://www.synthasia.com/login.html, which may use some of these groups of numbers and letters as passwords? or a password. Something like that...just kind of speculating.

Kay, I wrote down all the (what I think are codes) down. Here they are...
3am
2bp1mk
2fv
4cp1ah
3gp2bw
6db
2im1ep
1sm1ag
2imnl
1jp2bf
2gp1iy
1fp1br
3ap1cj
2kc
1wm1un
4ex
As you can see they are mostly 6 letters/numbers in length. Others are 3, and one is only 5. Also P1 is used in the middle of a few of them, and there are some other similarities as well. Not sure what any of it means yet though.

found 2 other pages within the About page (Investors and Team)
I also note that 2im1ep should be 2lM1ep, (two ell em one ee pee) due to the fact that lower case I's have a dot.

clue? or red herring? you decide.
I took the 21 pieces of code, and sorted them by each column, to see if any patterns appeared. I only found one pattern.
Code:
1fP1br 3am 6db 1sM1ag 1sM1ag 6db
1jP2bf 3aP1cj 2kc 4cP1ah 4cP1ah 2kc
1qM2cs 2bP1mk 3am 1fP1br 1jP2bf 2hP2ed
1sM1ag 4bP2dt 1sM1ag 3aP1cj 1fP1br 1jP2bf
1tM1gz 4cP1ah 2lM1ep 2lM1ep 3gP2bw 1sM1ag
1vM3eq 6db 1tM1gz 1tM1gz 3aP1cj 4cP1ah
1wM1un 4ex 1wM1un 2gP1iy 1qM2cs 3aP1cj
2bP1mk 1fP1br 1qM2cs 2bP1mk 4bP2dt 2bP1mk
2fv 2fv 1vM3eq 1wM1un 2hP2ed 2iM?nl
2gP1iy 2gP1iy 2iM?nl 1jP2bf 2lM1ep 3am
2hP2ed 3gP2bw 4cP1ah 3gP2bw 1vM3eq 1wM1un
2iM?nl 2hP2ed 1fP1br 1qM2cs 1tM1gz 2lM1ep
2kc 2iM?nl 3aP1cj 4bP2dt 2gP1iy 1vM3eq
2lM1ep 1jP2bf 2gP1iy 2hP2ed 2bP1mk 1fP1br
3am 2kc 2bP1mk 1vM3eq 2iM?nl 1qM2cs
3aP1cj 2lM1ep 1jP2bf 2iM?nl 1wM1un 4bP2dt
3gP2bw 1qM2cs 3gP2bw 2fv
4bP2dt 1sM1ag 4bP2dt 3gP2bw
4cP1ah 1tM1gz 2hP2ed 4ex
4ex 1vM3eq 2fv 2gP1iy
6db 1wM1un 4ex 1tM1gz
If you sort by the last character, you get each of the 24 consonants.
Part of the solution? or Red Herring?
definitely not coincidence.

A Key? Ok, let's look at that last column.
If you consider that the P or the M means Plus or Minus, then you basically have an alphabet math problem. Multiply the number by the letter's number equivalent (a=1, b=2, etc), then add or subtract it the next multiplication group accordingly.
Example: 2hP2ed means 2*h plus 2*e is the letter that stands for d, 2*h is 16, 2*e is 10, so d is 26, or z.
Here's the entire key.
b=x
c=v
d=z
f=n
g=r
h=m
j=f
k=q
l= d
m=c
n=b
p=s
q=g
r=h
s=k
t=p
v=l
w=y
x=t
y=w
z=m
This does leave the problem of two m's...and also where do we use this key?
I'll edit this, or someone will follow up on this logic.

Grammar "Kay, I wrote down all the (what I think are codes) down. "???
I wrote down all the down? I wrote down all the codes down? Shouldn't it be "Kay, I wrote down all the (what I think are) codes"? Or "Kay, I wroted all the (what I think are) codes down"?

Guess what? The key I posted above is the key that one would use to solve the cryptogram that was used to get the username and password for the synthasia.com login site. Therefore, the entire key is pointless since that puzzle has already been solved.
But now everyone can stop worrying about the numbers on mjm.html. That puzzle has officially been solved.

if anyone is a teacher, and needs us to "Show our work"...
this is what I got when I duplicated LordKinbote's efforts.
Code:
Orig. letter result
Code math

2kc 22 22V =c
2hP2ed 16 + 10 26Z =d
1jP2bf 10 + 4 14N =f
1sM1ag 19 - 1 18R =g
4cP1ah 12 + 1 13 =h
3aP1cj 3 + 3 6F =j
2bP1mk 4 + 13 17Q =k
2iM?nl 18 - 14 4D =l
3am 3 3C =m
1wM1un 23 - 21 2B =n
2lM1ep 24 - 5 19S =p
1vM3eq 22 - 15 7G =q
1fP1br 6 + 2 8H =r
1qM2cs 17 - 6 11K =s
4bP2dt 8 + 8 16P =t

There is also a login at anonymousfame.com, maybe the code could be used again if there is a cryptogram somewhere else for this login?
