 		My personal [META] opinion is that the PM's just thought it would be a good axon question.

While the favorite game information is classified in-game, nothing has indicated HOW classified it is. It could be relatively low. I mean, the tech rattled off the game preferences of alot of AIs, and he doesn't strike me as someone who would rate highly secretive information. Maybe it's something that would be revealed to the crew, if the circumstances were extreme enough.

Of course, it would be a heck of a twist. We hit 777 axons, Melissa starts trusting us, only to discover at some point later that we're not her crew AND we possess classified intel.

Summary: Jan asks her father what's her and what's "Spartan Voodoo"

J^2 says something about he should have asked the medics to skip the process and give him a "nice girl."

Jan replies that she's his "dream child."

More details later.

UPDATE: My tape from that call is blank. Apparently I can operate Warthogs, assault rifles, and power armor, but a simple mini tape recorder is a challenge to my skills. Sorry. You've got the gist of it, now go unlock those files!

"the ones who made it through, we were family" = the Spartans who made it through the augmentation process
"is this trip some kind of Spartan thing?" *****

"superior muscle density, [etc.]" were the things done to Spartans.

 		I'm confused. Halo 2 is supposedly ends the Convenant War. But if James James is a Spartan... What the heck? Was he a Spartan I? Or was he the second batch of Spartan IIs that never materialized in the game of the books? One thing we do know is that JJ isn't he Master Chief since he was the highest ranked Spartan II.

 		so J squared is a spartan, so is Jan.....in the new axon, "not anymore" he mentions he was made in section three compound, SIII anyone??

wasn't this mentioned in the books somewhere?

IMO, a better interpretation is that (in the novels) the MC is told that certain SPARTANs couldn't join the mission because they were 'too far away' to conveniently bring back (or their missions were too important, or something like that, no book in front of me to reference, sorry Sad )

So J 2 is one of the SPARTAN-IIs like MC but is off handling a special project for SIII (i.e., Section-III, or ONI)... he's raising the next generation of SPARTAN super soldiers... Jan James.

Except that no one intends to turn Jan in to a SPARTAN, they are just testing whether Jan is SPARTAN material, physically. She's obviously not been given the same training and discipline that the original SPARTANs were given.

James: We were the original one-point-oh's. Nothing like the Spartans now. I've got some tweaks, but inside I'm still human.

Jan: What parts?

James: All too much.

Ah, so much for my theory, eh? Guess it wasn't Hiro's GPA after all.

So I guess that confirms it, JJ is a Spartan I. Cool.
