[Puzzle] Shuffle

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
//Captured during field examination of Pottsville on 12/10/03 by SpyBot001201
//RUNNING FILE transcripts/wild_card_gang/deal.txt
//Jack_Of_Spades (Hereby referred to as Spade): I'm bored!
//Queen_Of_Hearts (Hereby referred to as Heart): So? Why should I care. Go get a six pack and pass out on the couch.
//Queen_Of_Diamonds (Hereby reffered to as Diamond): Yeah, get 4 six packs, and make it snappy.
//Spade: What, am I your slave? Your 4 of hearts? I think not. Get it yourself.
//Heart: You said you were bored, so make yourself useful.
//Spade: Just because I said I was bored, doesn't mean I'm going to make myself useful.
//Diamond: Hrmph. I was looking forward to them too.
//Heart: Do you think about anything else other thank drinking?
//Diamond: Jewlery.
//Heart: And besides that?
//Diamond: Men.
//*Heart rolls her eyes*
//Diamond: What do you want from me? Not like you like anything else.
//Heart: Hey, I like plenty of other things!
//Diamond: Like what?
//Heart: TV.
//Diamond: Everyone likes TV.
//Heart: Ooohhh..... How about this?
//Diamond: Do I hear a deal coming on?
//Heart: I think you do.
//Diamond: OH! OH! A DEAL! I LOVE DEALS!
//Heart: How about I help you go knock off Murphy Jewlers on Centre Street, and you help me knock off the candy shop, and we'll call it even and drop the conversation.
//Diamond: I dunno... you're getting 2 things for the price of one.
//Heart: I'm getting candy and a dropped conversation. You're getting expensive jewlery to add to your collection!
//Diamond: Fine... deal.
//Heart: Let's go.

P.S. Some binary shows up in the flash applet after a while. I'm in the process of decoding.

Madame... This is about the third time this has happened...

People need to be more clear about what we know and what we don't by using clear titles.

Doing otherwise obviously leads to confusion.

Just a suggestion

I agree completely with you, topics should be clear, just directing you to it so you didn't waste your time duplicating others' work... wasn't my topic..

However, to stand up for the topic creator slightly, I suppose the original command was fullhouse.. *shrug*

Thanks for the link, it is appreciated Wink

Hmmm... Methinks we need to find a solution for this...

Seems to me like this stuff doesn't happen in the other forums (i.e. those for UH)

Wow, it took me three trips through two different threads to even find where the puzzle started. Please guys, a little more setup before starting with the spoiler tags. Thanks!

Sorry about that. Those of us who have been playing for the last week were expecting the new keyword on the cell listing page. Another case of "It's obvious to me because I know all about it, why are you (who has no clue about the whole thing) having so much trouble".

RedKnight

Edit: Corrected the page we were expecting the update on.

A little rant about this..

Yeah, there is way too much use of spoiler tags in this forum where it is unnecessary (never thought I'd be saying that Rolling Eyes ). Not everything needs to be spoilered - just puzzle *solves* for those who want to play along at home. And always, always, always put a little bit of set-up first so that it can be followed easily. I know everyone is in a rush to 'post first' but really it makes it much easier for others if people take a little time with their posts.

For example, in the fullhouse topic (sorry to pick on that one Smile), the new command doesn't need a spoiler, as that word is *in the topic*! Then some setup is required to explain how shuffle was reached, for example "Enter fullhouse into the command prompt, then scroll down to the bottom and click the link. This takes you to 'shuffle' which contains a set of cards, and the following in the source:" As otherwise people may not have a clue where the conversation in the next set of spoiler tags (which are warranted here, IMO) came from.

Sorry, this has gone way off topic, and I'm ranting, I'm going to shut up now. Perhaps we need a posting guidelines meta topic.
