Well, thanks to all for the encouragement. What a morning this has been for me. I guess I won't hide away after all.

Especially keeping the whole thing quiet in the face of external pressure.
[Meta] It works much better as a surprise, than if we knew beforehand.

Just a small item that may be important:
Does Melissa actually know what "Pious Flea" signifies?
SP is the only one to call it that.
Would it not be better known to Melissa as "Seeker" or Extern Proc 0?

Wouldn't she actually know it as an SPDR? He told her he was a newer one...

surg:
!diag unk proc system peril distributed reflex
rogue proc 1 confidence 91

!compare vnum / SPDR-5.14.77 >> SPDR-5.14.3
surg:
!extend system peril distributed reflex>>master-sector command proc

Very well. Delete the older version.

system peril distributed reflex vnum SPDR-5.14.3
null /

--

She'd think he was SPDR-5.14.77, in other words... and if she thinks he's an SPDR, it might be harder to convince her that he's actually a potential virus and threat.

Maybe you should mention the fact he's looking for the Princess...

And thanks, Weephun. Smile It's a bit of a shock, but... now, there's more to do than trying to find text in images and work out the plot of the axons. And that's definitely good.

So, in the wake of Weephun's (Brilliant Smile) actions - the question I'm still wondering is: did he break Melissa's trust by revealing his mission to us?

I still can't find a clear answer - this is why I hate being out of the loop for a week :p

Mission was to help capture the Sleeping Princess. Mission accomplished for all to see. So I really don't see how there was any trust to break.

Ok Smile I was just wondering if you had like, given away the mission without consent or anything - I don't think we can afford to lose a pro-active insider Smile

I doubt it. I kept it secret pretty well. Melissa was the one to break the news.

No, I got that it was a compliment, it was just a very good one. I'm starting to get some more of those as time goes by today vs the bashing I took this morning.

Ah well, I can understand. People loved the SP.

Yes indeed, she is important

(I Just learned Queen = Melissa Razz)

SP is vital to this ARG for sure - she maybe the only thing between the PF/Queen/Melissa and their goals...

So was the SP locked up initially by Queen and escaped, or is the Queen just chasing SP all this time and FINALLY captured her?

Weephun, congratulations to you!!! I would not have had the clarity of mind to play the character like you did! Sorry about the SP, but hey, you didn't know justice would be so swift, did you?

However, right wrong or indifferent, it does look like you betrayed her, because after playing her "I'll distract the queen while you spy on her" game, you ended up giving her away (I haven't decided if this is good or not)... she'll be disappointed in you if she comes back, to say the least!!!

To everyone else, Weephun said from the start that he had an urevealed specific task and now we know what it was. The other crewmember in similar circumstances is Kamen (unrevelaed part of conversation which involves action from him).

Alright Kamen, 'fess up!!

Edited for clarity

Um...

As far as I can tell the warnings where clearly posted. Though I'm not sure what Weephun really could have done to create a different outcome.

Maybe he could have NOT told the Queen where to find the SP?
