Florida Axons

Pm's please listen to Koju. I drove 1,5 hrs to his axon to answer the phone. There where about 7 of us there waiting for the call...a fraction f the beekeepers here. I understand that the hurricanes are discouraging, but in reality we don't have much else keeping us going.

Open some new axons in the Orlando, Daytona, & Deland areas...you'll make life easier for all concerned.

CPO. Case out.

I'm just waiting for Verizon to figure it out and replace the phone, giving it a new number, and making me curse loudly and often. Then again, someone must be collecting the money, and they apparently don't care. Smile

As repetitive as the payphone thing is getting, introducing the opportunity for live calls has encouraged people to come back out. The very first week, there were about twenty people trying to locate the phone. Two weeks ago, I was the only one who showed up. Last week, one other person appeared. Last night, a small crowd - all at my little axon, just seven minutes from my house.

Next week: Kojubat and his trusty sidekick "Spiked Flail".

(No, not really. It's kinda cool, in the "my wife just uses this as further evidence that I'm weird" kind of way.)

Dude!

I went to an axon in pittsburgh just last sunday and didn't see anything. I went to the one by the hospital near the bvd of the allies. I stood right on that little corner and didn't see a damn thing!

I guess that I'm lucky that the PMs finally chose my cell phone number as an axon and made me part of the crew, seeing how most axons were about a 4-5 hour drive from where I live in Tallahssee.

I thought that I wouldnt have a chance to help while I was in Kissimmee FL during the summer, when the very first set of coordinates had at least 3 on the same stretch of road (192). But then the coordinates got updated and removed and I relocated to Tallahassee.

All I can say is thanks to the PMs for choosing my phone number making part of the crew.

Isn't that the one inside of the Best Western lobby? I'll be going there tomorrow for the (probably) last set of Pittsburgh axons. Do you live in Pittsburgh loco? Maybe we can meet up. It'll be the first time I have transportation to the axons, but there's a Pittsburgh axon hunter thread in Axon Coordination.
