Bummer -- there's still only one axon in Milwaukee, WI, and it's the same one that's been used in every set so far, so the fun of 'axon hunting' has long since gone out of it.

Also, based on our experiences over the past two weeks, I don't think this phone is enhottenatable any longer. Two weeks ago, we found out that the payphone (which is in the entrance to a Chinese restaurant) shares a line with the phone inside the restaurant; last week, the payphone didn't ring at all, and a call placed to the payphone's number is now answered by someone inside the restaurant.

I'll give it another attempt on Tuesday, but I think that the restaurant has gotten fed up with people crowding into its entranceway and huddling around its payphone, and I'm not looking forward to angering them any further. A new Milwaukee, WI axon would sure be nice.

Once again, there isn't one in Omaha.

I should just give up hope.

Nice, same three Palo Alto ones but with more time in between. I will definitely still be out getting those phones.

Uh, isn't it "AXON FAILURE" now? Will be hot again come Tuesday though, and I'm hoping to hit it then. I call dibs on Chief Warrant Officer 4, but I still need to come up with lonely & revenge stories...
