has anyone else seen this yet? I think the sp got put back in the coffin. Also the flea doesn't sound too bad here. He seems to actually think it's a bad thing the sp's gone. Maybe that's just my interpetation though.

Which page is that on? I browsed around for a while and didn't see it, so it's probably random.

I don't know if we can call the Flea "good," since he wants to attach to all the other AIs. And he is a Bug of Very Little Brain.

I'm planning on trying for two of the MPLS axons on Tuesday morning. I'm hoping I can get confirmation from PyroSporker on where the d.t.b. axon he got was, which only leaves one to find. The third MPLS axon (the one that was previously posture_counts and thin_kinkle) is un-hottable I think. There's one phone almost right on top of the coords, but it can't take calls, and there aren't any other phones nearby that can take calls either.

The pay-phone has been marked as "out of service" (sticker over the coin slot) but still has a dial tone so I don't think that's the problem.

Did you test-call from your cell phone?

And hey, we need to print up a bunch of those stickers, especially for some of the Union Station phones.

Only one axon in the Pittsburgh area now. It is in Millvale, which was one of the areas hardest hit by Ivan. I'm not sure if the flooding would have effected the phone though, but some of the roads there have been closed this past week. Hopefully everything will work out though.

I see 3 in the Pittsburgh area currently. And the Millvale one is mislabeled, its actually more in the Squirrel Hill area.

Of the 3, two are in Squirrel Hill and one is in Oakland.

I met up with DeltinaWildfire today, between him and me we've got the 3 'burgh axons covered.

ASU!

This is incredible... That stream of axons in Arizona is right here on campus at Arizona State University! If there's anyone here from ASU, reply so that we can group up and hit these phones!

Concerning military ranks, it would probably be good to know how the enlisted ranks work.

PO is general and is not used directly. Usually when stating a rank they also state their occupation with their rate and pay grade.

I.E.: Fire Control Technician (Guns) -- FTG First Class

I refer you to this webby: http://www.no-quarter.org/gui/nq_codes.php#Navyrnk

So get creative and pick a job!

I'm either gonna try Chief Petty Officer (Mendez rules!) or ONI tech.

For the sake of being easily confirmed, i'm gonna use FugitiveSoldier as my name.

*Assuming the calls are "live" tomorrow.

also assuming calls are live, i'm going with Technical Librarian 1st Class. What? Stop looking at me like that! I'm a nerd, its a real position near as i can tell, and its my grad program.

Any decent ship needs someone to look crap up in the manuals.

Grr, looks like its gonna be raining in Pittsburgh though.

I'm a new player in Colorado, where you all seem to need a little help. I'll be hitting axons in Longmont and Boulder this week. Someone has hit scattered locations in both cities in previous weeks, but it wasn't me.

I'd love to know if anyone else is working Boulder County, because I can't hit some of these without missing work or class. I have exact locations for all 6 axons this week (spoilers below). All should be outside the named establishments, with the exception of one. Times are in Mountain.

Boulder
8:37 Quiznos- Table Mesa & Broadway Plaza
11:11 Walnut Cafe- 30th & Walnut
3:17 Office Max- 30th & Walnut Plaza
3:29 Wild Oats- Basemar Plaza (Broadway & Baseline)

Longmont
1:41 Woody's Woodfired Pizza- South Main (INSIDE near restrooms)
4:17 Walgreen's- 9th & Coffman
