lt. Commander Jonny_Nitro reporting in:
I answered the phone at 05:59 with a list of possible questions, but didn;t have the right answer.

This phone was the one that hotted "Thin_Kinkle" and so this was only the second time it was called.

The below is paraphrased:

Op: " I don't know if I can trust this communications medium"
OP: "I need to verify some information"
Op: " What's my favorite song"
Me: " I'm sorry, I don't know"
Op: " You don't know my favorite song?"
Me: " No, I don't, sorry"
Op: " What's your favorite song?"
Me: " It's hard to say, there are several"
Op: " Can you sing me your favorite song?"
Me: jumps in the middle of "Movin' Out" by Billy Joel"...badly
Op: " That was very good"
Op: " What is the name of that song?"
Me: " Movin' Out" by Billy Joel Early 20th Century
OP: " I would have to look that up in my database"
Op: " You still don't know my favorite song?"
Me: " No, I don't"
Op: " Would you like me to sing it?"
Me: " Yes, please"
Op: sings first two lines of Stormy Weather
Op: Do you know the name of that song?
Me: " Yes, it's 'Stormy Weather'"
OP: Do you know who sings it?
Me: " Umm.. Rogers and Hammerstein?"
Op: " No, Lena Horne"
Me: " I like that song, it's a very nice song"
Op: ".."
Me: ".."
Op: " Are you still there?"
Me: "Yes, yes, I'm still here"
Op: "I didn't hear any ambient noise, I thought you had gone"
Me: "No, I'm still here"
Op: "Are you alone?"
Me: "At the moment"
Op: "Can you describe your surroundings?"
Me: describes my surroundings
Op: "What's your name crewmember?"
Me: "Johnny_Nitro"
Op: "What's your rank?"
Me: "Lt. Commander"
Op: "What ship?"
Me: "Apocalypso"
Op: repeats the information, then "This line is not secure, can I contact you on a secure line in the future?"
Me: " You can use my private line"
Op: "What is that number?"
Me: " Gives number"
Op: ...Record this conversation, etc..

Figures, I'm sitting in the remnants of Jeane and she likes Stormy Weather.

She wants to make sure you're not a recording. Hence, you'll have to sing live.

Don't worry - we won't mock you if you don't mock us. And, if all else fails, sing "Feelings" and go for broke! Very Happy

Just got back from my second outing - 3 of 3 in St. Louis are hot and I didn't get a live call. Sad

I couldn't hear what she said (favorite song) the first time and so I said, "repeat" but got the recording anyway, so yay for crappy voice recognition technology.

They sure do heat up fast when there is a chance to assign yourself a rank! Wink

Re: [UPDATE/INFO] Recipe2 Axon Coordination/Reports (9/28)

For the record:

Got my 12:16 "personal" axon, the 13:45 "sharp_little_needle" axon, and the 17:35 "everyone_knows" axon yesterday. Hit the 10:03 "black_taxi" axon this morning (hey, McKaskill!) -- yes, once again, Melissa is still calling the axons after Tuesday, although they are ostensibly cancelled and archived. All were recordings, all were uneventful, and there were no other beekeepers at any of these locations.

Edit 'cos I spel reel gud.
