maybe we could bridge the gap? I mean like come up with a command he can understand for words or phrases and send it to him, sort of like a guide?

Sorry, I'm just posting this again since few people will read the pages before this.
More info that convinces me that the name of the SP is from the Sleeping Beauty story:
-An old witch/fairy/the queens mother comes to the birthing ceremony of the SP after having learnt that she was not invited. She puts a curse on the Princess at this time.
-After 14-16-17 years, the princess is running through the castle. She runs up a tower where she finds an old woman on a spindle, which the princess pricks her finger on. The old woman turns out to be the witch/fairy/queens mother in disguise.
-Could pricking her finger on the spindle be like a bee sting, which Durga seems to dish out a lot?
-At the birthing ceremony, the crib is laced with rubies and diamonds. I believe these appear in the SP's story of the Widow's repairing of the Queen, but I am unsure.
-When Aurora (the princess) pricks her finger, her parents are away (could coincide with the facts about the SP's parents.)
-The witch/fairy/queens mother had lived in a tall tower for 50 years, never coming out before the day they cursed Princess Aurora.
-Princess Aurora is 17 when she pricks her finger. "Smart" AI's can only live to 7. If the SP is based off Sleeping Beauty, this does make her much older than the Flea or Melissa.

Ruby and saphire are the gems in the Widow's Journey. But the Sleeping Princess did comment on being stung by a bee when she was a child.

DM that is very convincing evidence. You may just have something there. I don't know much about AIs, but I'm assuming that that seven year rule starts when they are activated?
In other words, if they were in a storage of some sort, they could be kept indefinitely?

Without getting too specific, multiple crew received emails; myself included.

Oddly enough, I got the e-mail too. I don't know if there was any pattern in deciding who should get the e-mail or not, but I'm in South Carolina, where we have no axons, and very little in game interaction first hand with the characters. I just thought it was interesting that the crew members would get the same e-mail...maybe trout though.

Vortech's comment brings to mind the idea that perhaps we 'unenlightened' should be hiding our analysis from those with higher clearance?
Kazic, I think the biggest problem we have with trying to teach the flea english is that as a process, he has no way of voicing his thoughts or feelings. All he can do is show commands. I realise that he may be showing emotion, such as the dejection shown through in his "seek princess, fail, recurse" lines in the new 404 - but he cannot philosophise, or simply converse. Everything he does is for a specific command purpose.

[SPEC]when she falls apart [SPEC]
One thing that's been bothering me about the axon calls, is the need for the "Continue" voice comand. It's the same everytime. You say continue, you get that cacaphony of ilovebees madness, then it stops. But the line does not go dead right away. I had a failed live call with Melissa and as soon as she was done with me, the line went dead instantly. With the recorded axons, you get a good 8-9 sec of silence after the final "ilovebees" before you hear a 'click' and the line goes dead. Could this be what the princess means, "when she falls apart" ? I wonder what would happen if we said her name during that silence after the saying continue. Won't know until we try it on Tues, I guess; unless someone is going for the new recipe3 axons. It's worth a try.

I really am not a baig fan of the idea of teaching him english. I was just suggesting a possible way it could be done.
1st I think we need to make contact with him before we do anything else. You have to learn to crawl before you can walk.

Certainly. All this talk about teaching him anything makes the huge assumption that the flea is in control of the ladybee777SPLAT hotmail.com address.

True, but having to talk and read in code is a pain. We need to include English to Seeker and Seeker to English in the translate button on the bottom of the post a reply page. JK

Yeah, but our first priority is making contact with someone at the ladybee777 e-mail. Once we get a reply we can work on interaction.

[Meta] I don't expect to receive a response anytime soon. In fact it was very suprising just to see an update on the game at this late a time. You have to consider that the PMs of this ARG are working people just like everyone else. So I am fully prepared to have to wait until Monday. Unless of course, the great PMs are as excited as we are about this, and feel like working a little overtime.
