[SPEC] A way to tell how many phones will go live?

On another glance over the recipe 1 page, I noticed that the recipe itself (Bee-licious Chocolate Chip Cookies) is for making 16 cookies. I decided to look at the recipe 2 page to see if it had a special quantity for its recipe (Bee Sting Cake), and noticed that is for 24 servings.
16+24=40 the amount of crew on the Apocalypso
I know that only 15 crew were accepted on Tuesday. But I am also aware of DeltinaWildfire's story about getting a live call, but not getting accepted. I am not sure if there are other failure stories, if not, only 16 phones were called. If there are, they may have been attempting to get 16 members that day.
I know there isn't much to back this up, but it just seems to close, too coincidental to me. No other page has any serving size information on it than those two. And if this is true, then on next Tuesday, either 24 live calls will be made, or there will be an attempt to finish off the rest of the roster. Any input on this would be appreciated.

You forgot about the call bungled by arlingtonstranger. And how many other calls to people not connected to these forums? Do you know who Ben is? I don't. Please. Coincidences are not correlations.

Not trying to pass it off as a correlation. I agree, a coincidence is all that it is. I just thought that it seemed a little too coincidental, but maybe I am just a little post-happy today. It wouldn't be a big deal if it's true or not anyways. Just have to wait until Tuesday to find out I guess.

I failed a live call as well. I stood there with my jaw hanging open for a good minute after Melissa hung up me! So add me to whatever number you were compiling.

The recipe amounts are still interesting, though! Good catch! It might mean nothing, or it may actually have the significance you're seeing so far.
