I've been gazing at this image all night long, and the best I can come up with is its some kind of star map.

Excatly how to read it I dont know, but the planets are clearly in groups of some sort. They seem to be organized by distance from the sun, and then the numbers clearly dont reflect that, so its another form of organization. I orignally thought it was conjunction of the planets, when they line up in a straight line from earth, but that cant be since earth itself is one of the planets organized as such.

sadly I dont know enough about such things to really make sence of it. There is something I found online called Triple Conjunction, but again it makes little sence to me.

Ok, I was wondering about the page name. The only appropriate meaning that I could find for 'SPH' is as an abbreviation for 'Sphere'. Makes sense for an image full of planets.

Probably not important, but I think this is some of the original image. Scroll down just a little on the page.
The source images for the poster found on many sites (noted below) is copied from JPL and we should reference it as the original.

I wonder if there is an order to clicking on the planets or putting them in a certain order? We've seen that requirement in a puzzle before. And there are *7* potential planets to put into order.

{edited to show the original source for all the different versions of the planet pictures everyone is finding]

It could also any of the words listed here: http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?p=dict&String=exact&Acronym=SPH

Also, sph is the abbriviation for "spherical lens"

Here's the full image... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Solar_system.jpg

Interestingly, Pluto is not in the original image. There are also a couple other notable differences. The Mars in sph.html is from a different source, as is Jupiter (notice the location of the red spot - and other details indicate that it's not just flipped).

I think Mithraism is a very important connection here. There's tons of cult/secret society stuff here.

Check out
this page about Mithra astrology
According to this the 6 pointed star actually originated as a Masonic symbol.

And, apparently, the Masons left a 6 pointed star message on the dollar bill.

Some Mathematical proof that Earth and Jupiter are related in a 6-pointed star configuration. I can't understand it, it makes my head hurt.

However, if you remeber, Jupiter was very important to Mithraism.

And on this weird Matrix page it talks about a 6-pointed star formation of planets(if you include Chiron) :

Quote:
The myth of Chiron seems to be important at this time in astrological terms. It has come to the forefront of our consciousness because Chiron is one of the "planets" which makes of the 6-pointed star formation of the Harmonic Concordance (11/8/03).

An astrological chart or something of the Harmonic Concordance:

I don't quite know what it means. Any astrologers here?

Oh, and guess what was used in Initiation rites?
That's right, the 6 pointed star.

A lot pieces, but no way to tie them all together...
Didn't get anything to solve the puzzle yet...

For those who may have been as confused as I, latin.html and ovid.html are the same page. When you call the phone number you hear men speaking in latin and according to Kender it is Ovid's Metamorphoses.

So I think this may have been done by the PMs so we could have gotten to the right page even if we hadn't identified the latin.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Alphabet of the Magi shows up in a later puzzle.

Something else that may or may not have anything to do with anything...

Looking through some of the links people have put up, I came across this
http://www.helpingmormons.org/magi.gif
which calls itself the crown of the magi. Some of those images looked familar to me, they were on the reverse side of the talismans.

Whats even weirder, if you take the crown, and point it with the image that seems to represent the sun tword the moon, the other images *Mars, Saturn, and Venus I believe* all line up on the correct sides, as seen below. Again I have no idea, but it could be another clue of what we're supposed to do with it. BTW, whoever figured out that was the moon and not pluto, good job.

Only real catch, is the bird. That could be Jupiter, but I suspect it is Venus as well.

The book that Ron recovered from the GoldMineHotel might help:
