So, is this an Easter Egg? Or a way for the PMs to let us know the puzzles in the book aren't in game?

How would you think that implies the puzzles in the book aren't in game?!

www.deadpoems.com/insertpuzzle.html also yielded no result. I guess it was worth a try.

Wishi: I think he was interpreting it as a joke; "Insert Puzzle Here" or something like that.

Poem Question is the poem that's shown at http://www.deadpoems.com/images/dpp020.jpg in the book? I tried running the first letter of each sentence through an anagram and it looked interesting. But the graphic looks like it's missing the rest of the poem.

Thank you Idran but the "he" is a "she". Wishi, it was a question, not a statement. I'm not sure what "insert puzzle" means but it doesn't sound like a message a dead person would leave for us. It is possible that the puzzles in the book are not in game. It's also possible that the dead person who left this message was a fan of puzzles.

Thoughts Just a couple of thoughts from the book, again wrapped in spoilers for those who want to wait and explore themselves. Possible trouts, so apologies in advance if I missed this elsewhere.
Regarding page 57 - the untitled poem previously seen in part on the DP site (on the image with with the line drawing of buildings and walls):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
We finally see the full version of this poem here, and the last letters in each line spell out 'THE FEAR THEY BREED'.
Regarding the "Our Nightly Excursions" poem on page 67:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's already been pointed out that the caps in the title spell "ONE", and that there are similar titles for TWO, THREE, and FOUR. What I find interesting is the last two lines of this poem:
onE or Zero
but neVer two
Ones and zeroes, and no twos? Ann is talking about binary, don't you think?
Finally, just so those without books don't feel completely left out, there are new images on DP, including this one , which looks like it might have belonged in the book but I could not find it anywhere in my copy.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Spec - there is a poem in the book called "Placement" (pg 64) - we have already found one cryptic message in the second half (thanks Enaxor!) but maybe the first half contains something as well? The fact that we have a poem called "Placement", and an image of words placed oddly on a page, seems coincidental. Is there meaning in the position of the words? Maybe we need to superimpose them on something else?

From page 37:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
first letter of each line spell "thetruthbelow"
enaxor pointed out that it could be a reference to the tunnels beneath CMH which Dr Ed House put in

The Lily be Nine poem, a possible (probable) solve.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Lily be Nine anagrams to Line by Line.
Enaxor suggested we count words and that the solution might be binary. The word count works out to:
433, 443434,333,433,444,3,434,434,33,433,44
grumpyboy put it into binary:
01100101 01110110 00101001 01101100
It translates to ev) l . Line 18 seems to be the problem. If line 18 had 3 words instead of 4 it would translate to evil .
-------- -------- -^------ -------- ( ^ being where the problem is)
Should be:
01100101 01110110 01101001 01101100
The photo of the original poem is cut off before line 18 so we don't know for sure if it was a transcription error on Reed's part, a mistake by the PMs or wishful thinking on our part. We think evil is the solution though.

I was looking at the poems on pp. 67, 79, 45, and 73, and just started writing some things down.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
All the caps from ONE/TWO/THREE/FOUR, in order:
TPVDWTTWIIAYEZV
AHPAHZEPHBPEWMTIHVKL
NNVEWQRQYZLPDOFMSODEI
XRRSEBIMDJEMFSEO
I can't tell if they mean anything, I just thought I'd post them and arrange them.
