She said that she talked to Brendan, maybe he got the info he needed from her directly.

It's possible but I doubt it - Brendan asked us specifically to get that info as we knew her better. I'm sure if Brendan found that out he would let us know via the Yahoo Group... perhaps someone should ask him?
