Who else will never become crew?

I live in a small town in Northern California. The closest axons around here is the (1) in Davis (about a 50 mile drive, hard to do when you work) and then SF/Berkeley (about a 90 mile drive)

Looks like I'm doomed to never get a live call, who else is with me? Wink

Hmmm, at least you live in the same country as calls are taking place. Try living in Canada, us poor fools up here have to subsist on whatever tidbits of information you guys feed us. Bah.

Like, same here, eh? Very Happy However, the Pious Flea sent me the SP-in-distress email last week, so I might be recruited for something else.

I'm sure that I won't ever get a call, live or otherwise. Living in France has it's drawbacks. I wish I was back in the U.S. at this moment. Being able to answer an Axon, especially if it was a live call, has become a dream of mine. Unfortunatly it won't come true unless the PMs put one here in France. How about it PMs? Wink

I live in Wales, a half-country on the side of England (not Ireland, that lump coming out the side). Sure, I could go to London, but it will take 6 hours there and back, and the call might not even come.

Still, I'm hopeful that Melissa will call a payphone here while I'm walking past it.

Oh my God.

I think I'm going to cry.

I missed the axon today. There are three by me, and it's a half-hour drive at the least. My father said I couldn't go because I could catch TB.

And what happens?

I miss a live call.

I think I'll start calling myself Almost-Ensign Aura. TT___TT -sob-

huzzah! I'm out unless M figures out a way to do it online, or drops me an axon in fort wayne, IN (and if she hasn't in the last month, I doubt she will now, not even at the working university payphones 260.483.9602 or 260.483.9812).

What? Me? Hint? No.... Very Happy

>< I WISH she would do it online. I love the whole getting-up-off-your-ass-and-doing-some-research concept not included in most games, but I just cannot find the time or transportation to get myself to the axons in time. I'm thinking of trying to send my cellphone number to ladybee777( along with a message swearing alliance to the Operator of course ^_^) and see if she calls me there. Although I doubt it because my friend already tried about four times.

Well, I'm in the UK, in London in fact, but seeing as I live on one side, and work on the other (Romford, Essex -> Feltham, Middlesex every day, that's a 89-mile round trip), and seeing as I am working, the chances of me diverting through central London to pick up the only axon there are slim, even if I do have a GPS unit.

Besides, there are a LOT of other UK axon hunters that have all been staking out those phone booths (And all the ones around), and not had a bean yet.

Sucks to be me, huh?

It's even harder when you live <15 minutes away from the axon but can't get to it at that time Mad Damn school.

I'm in NZ, so the chances of me getting a call are slim to say the least. Smile

NZ = New Zealand?

I know nothing of geography. Or abbreviations for that matter. >>'

Can you go Saturday? The current plan is to stake out the phones at the coordinates using as many possible (but appropriate) datums as we can pinpoint phones for. Coordinate in london axon thread.
