Got the 7:13PDT axon, it was a live call.

Got there about 15 minutes before the call, there was a cluster of 3 phones outside the subway station, and one inside next to the token booth, so I had to kinda hover between them (about 30 feet apart), not knowing which one it was. People kept using the phones, which nearly drove me to insanity.

I really wish I had one of those cell phones with video, the location of the phone is too hilarious. It's directly outside a very busy subway station (South Ferry on the 1/9 line) and almost directly in the path between the exit of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and the subway entrance, meaning that every 15 minutes or so, there are throngs of people connecting from the ferry to the subway, all walking right by the phone. A ferry came in around 7:10PDT, and a wave of people came flooding through, it was very noisy. Oh, and did I mention there was construction going on? And it started pouring rain? Anyway the phone rang (I got lucky and was standing right next to it when it did).

Rough transcript of the call follows (of course it'll end up being completely different if/when she puts it online):

Melissa: [something about insecure hardware, don't know if you are who you say] What's my favorite song?
me: Stormy Weather
Melissa: Good. Do you know this song?
me: Yes
Melissa: Can you sing it for me?
me: (shock) I, er, don't really know the words, but I can hum it for you...Mmm mm mmmmmm, mm mmm mmmm mm mm m mmm, Stormy Weather...
Melissa: You have a nice tone(?). [Do you have a/What is your] favorite song?
me: A song called Golden Slumbers, by a group called the Beatles
Melissa: Sing it for me
me: (sings song) "....and I will sing a lullaby-ee"
Melissa: A lullaby. It is a beautiful song. Do you sing this song for others?
me: For my children sometimes.
Melissa: You have children.
[she goes on to ask about my children]
Melissa: [Why/when do you sing it to them/for what reason]?
me: when the are hurt, or to put them to bed
Melissa: Why would they hurt?
me: you know, they fall, they get hurt, etc.
Melissa: I need to send a message, but there's a rogue process, etc

[At this point I was kind of stunned that I had just sung a song into a public payphone, while construction workers looked on. So, I'm a little unclear on the rest of the convo]

Melissa: Do you know anything about [the rogue process/Durga]?
me: No, I'm sorry, I don't (I was drawing a blank, so it was tecnically true)
Melissa: That's disappointing. I need to know more info. Can I contact you...

[Gave name, phone number, consent to record and/or play back call, said "Yes Ma'am" a lot]

Melissa: I have to go! CLICK

Edit: I think I got the order mixed up a little, she asked for my name/rank earlier than I originally wrote. And I'm sure I left out stuff, but I don't recall any revelations. Also, when I told her "bagsbee", she said, "bagsbee. Bags, bee. Bees..." and then went into the I Love bees mantra. I kinda freaked because I figured maybe she thought I was messing with her with my name. So I waited and didn't say anything, and eventually she came back on the line. I was afraid of messing it up so I took a "less is more" attitude.

First off, great job!

It sounds like you and I had almost the same conversation. I'll try to remember as much as I can. I was asked to keep something secret like some others though.

I answered the phone, and Melissa asked me what her favorite song was. I told her it was Stormy Weather. She asked if I had ever heard of that song. I said no, and she asked me my favorite song. I told it was Mr. Roboto by Styx. She asked me why I liked that song. I was lost, and didn't know what to say, so I said the same thing someone else said about it reminding them of childhood days, and playing football. She asked what football was. If you've seen the other post (too lazy to look it up - I think it was gilada's post), then you know the rest. She went into the breakdown stage, and I told her it was ok Sleeping Princess. I'll take care of you.

She said the same thing about being scared. She said there were sharp silver buttons in front of me that scared her. I told her they were not that sharp, that it'll be ok. I was there to protect her. I told her where she could find a red balloon to set her free. She was very interested to hear more about this balloon.

I told her a red balloon was left for her onceuponatime at the ilovebees server, and she began thinking back, and said "yes, I do remember leaving a balloon there."

She said she lost her family, and asked if I could help her find her family. Of course, I said yes. She said something about a red balloon being attached to the street light. I looked outside, but nothing. Then, she said she found another balloon attached to an old rusty bench. This frightened her because the bench was sharp.

Finally, I told her to grab ahold of the balloon, and she would be free. Well, she then got confused because she didn't know, which balloon to take. She found 3 others down different paths. She said she didn't know which one to take. The paths she told me were:

NOBLE TRUTHS
FAITHFUL APOSTLES
DEADLY SINS

I told her to take the NOBLE TRUTHS balloon. She asked if I was sure. I said yes. Unfortunately, she began crying and screaming. I think I chose the wrong path!

Melissa came back on, and me something. I said something about bad connection hardware. She agreed that this hardware wasn't very reliable, and asked for my name and rank (Lieutenant Aspmaster), and my chatter number so I could be reached later.

I'll post this in the puzzle thread as well, so people can see that NOBLE TRUTHS may not be the correct path.
