Mornington,
I, too, had the same conversation with Melissa. I just couldn't remember if that was the part that she wanted kept secret from the crew or not. I suppose not. Thanks.
Oh, what do I know? I think it's ok, because she posts it herself on the hive page.

So The Crew already knows that she's worried about Durga interfering, AND we're helping her out. And she specifically asked me to broadcast the rest of the message about the rogue process.
If I am wrong I'm sure I'll be peeling spuds for R&R again!
Over and out...

Re: [PHONE] Personal Calls to Crew 9/28 My 12:16 "personal" call was also a recording, identical in every way to the ones previously discussed here.
(I mistakenly thought my time was 12:06, and I spent a very unpleasant ten minutes running through depressing speculations from "I must have given her the wrong number -- how often do I call my own cell phone?" to "She kicked me off the crew! She doesn't trust me any more! Maybe she saw my e-mail to the Sleeping Princess or something!" )

I'm sorry if this has already been asked/answered I have done a lot of reading but didn't see anything on this...
We have characters who are working against each other... do we know which one we should be helping? I would think that we can affect the outcome of this game by which characters we help.... the sleeping princess was locked up, but then we freed her... how do we know if we want to help the SP or if we should be helping Melissa?

We don't know. That's the problem.

Problem is an understatement.

A recording? How could she be a recording in the live calls? It doesn't make any sense. Her responses in my call were too precise to be a pre-recorded dramatization... if that's what I'm understanding.

shad0 was already a crew member, and this weeks call was a personal call to a number he provided. His call in essence was not a live call as experienced by the new crew members, but just an easier way to enhotenate an axon.

Ohoh, okay. Yeah, she told me she wouldn't be able to contact me personally through this line.

Yes, and it looks like this week that she specifically said she would not be able to make the direct calls in person, that it would be a recording.

It makes sense if you think about it. Havingto make up to 40 live calls in one day, would be hard work.

For those of you who got direct calls this week, were the axons you received the live call still in the call list or were the removed/replaced with different locales?

The Burbank Airport Hilton axon, where I got the live call last week at 14:09, was still on the coordinate list this week. I hit it Tuesday at 13:45, and got the recorded Melissa, as expected. So once-live axons are not being removed from her list.
