Melissa: - interrupting that was. . . close (disappointed slightly). What is your favorite song?
Vortech: "Hung up on you" (I don't remember if she asked, but in either case I explained. . . ) it's a song about a guy waiting on a call from the girl he cares about.
Melissa: Can you sing it for me?
Vortech: And I can't dial the phone just now
Even though I know your number

Melissa: I like that song because it reminds me of where I am.
Vortech: I'm glad you like it too.
Melissa: Why do you like it?
Vortech: Because of the wordplay and because its like what I'm doing right now.

Vortech: Waiting on a call from you.
Melissa: Why are you waiting for me to call?

Hey, this is probably trout... but I was just glancing through old info and saw something interesting: did anyone else notice that the Princess sang us part of Stormy Weather in her August 3rd email a looong time ago? Interesting... maybe she's just spying on Melissa?? Weird. Sorry if this is trout!

I don't think it's trout. It's a very astute observation, and it further helps to tie Melissa and the SP together as two parts or facets of the same being.

The only reason I know that this is trout is because I caught it, too, when I went back to Melissa's Castaway memory and discovered that it didn't actually mention "stormy weather" directly, and then I remembered that e-mail from the Sleeping Princess. I was all set to post my brilliant observation, but I searched first, and found that johnny_Nitro had already posted it. Twice, in fact.

Oh, well. Great minds run in the same channel, and all that. I still think it's a Very Important Thing, and in my mind is the strongest piece of evidence to support the theory that the Princess and Melissa are related somehow. In fact, this piece of information is the primary reason that I'm now leaning towards the theory that the Princess may be the human from which Melissa was created (be she Yasmine or someone else entirely). So good catch!
