[SPEC] Bad news = the "flu" that the crew is "catching"??

As for who "they" are .... I'm really not sure. Maybe processes from Durga trying to figure out what's going on???

 		Its either a character we are familiar with or not.

I would think it is a character we have seen before(nothing to back that up)

It is either a character from the present(2004) or the Future

I would love to think it is the future.

[SPEC] "They" are ONI or some other army agency that has more to do with the Apocolypso and the crash and the artifact than we know about.

This game has got to focus on the artifact before it is done

 		I think after the SPDR's 'caring' repair of Melissa, she has become the computer equivalent of a schizophrenic as a result (she did say that the SPDR was messing around with her brain). Even if it's 'mild'. She think's that, perhaps, bees are coming, and the only way to stop them stinging her is to say 'I love bees'. Or she can run away. But it doesn't have to be bees.

EDIT: 111th post. 666 more and I can be employed by Bungie.

They way Melissa talks about backing up her crew, I would be very supprised if she would ask permission before telling her crew that they were in mortal peril.

I would propose that the "they" is "us". That is those of us who she doesn't accept as crew, yet still seem to have access to her "communications network". We do "seem to be everywhere" and as HmrPita has shown, we are not all that trustworthy in Melissa's eyes. That's got to be disturbing if you are a high security AI, to have a buch of strange people running through your data.

As for the Bad news... Maybe that the Covie's are earthbound? That they are on their way, and we are shipwrecked whith no means of getting off this planet? I dunno... This is a hard one to figure out without more data.

 		Trout me if this has been mentioned, I'm sleepy.

The Flu is a virus and is otherwise called the Flu Bug. Maybe the Flea isn't an AI after all and is a virus sent to re-program Earth AI's (same spec as others, but as a virus).
