No, she did not take my number. I guess she doesn't want to contact a traitor directly. Wink

Indeed, pita, you were a traitor to Melissa (and a hero to us all), and as such you have lost her trust. In a way, you sacrificed yourself for the cause. And you probably won't get any more chances with Melissa (unless you give yourself a new handle and rank, etc.). However...

Weephun must have garnered (the corrupted) Melissa's full trust. He, above all others, has the power to really get info out of her. Or, better yet, he can pull the most beautiful of all double-crosses, if he so chooses. If he plays his cards right, he can get his Hollywood Redemption and really stick it to whoever is pulling the strings (the Flea, perhaps?)!

Of course, then they'd have to make a whole new T-shirt...

If I rat out Durga, can I get a T-shirt that says something about that pita? lol.

I'm considering doing it if she were to ask because it might actually influence what happens in the wavs.

Uh... I know this is not the Place and maybe a little off subject, But these two beekeepers have acomplished Nothing for the Sake of the Game. Why was it neccessary to Rat out hmrpita? That was a Dumb move and now we will have some thing else that will need to be fixed.

Are we moving Forward or backwards people? This has to stop!?!? We all need to be on the Same Page.

Although, I might be wrong.....Only time will tell.

DeceptaconS while I may not have done the exact same thing while in their respective place(s) it is obvious to me that the PMs did want these two things to take place. They were pushing us towards them, these two people were simply the ones who took the initiative. It would have probably happened anyway.

How can you say it's not furthering the plot? After it was all said and done we learned more valuable information about the Princess from all of this. While her capture may have seemed like a bad thing in the beginning, it proved to have a purpose, just like everything else in this game.

Please keep that in mind, before you publicly call out someone for playing a game.

To DeceptaconS and anyone else who might share this opinion, allow me to point you to this recent post regarding the direction of the game and the effect of individuals versus the community on it, as well as the fact that ULTIMATELY, the PMs have the control and are dictating the game. Hence, saying another player has "accomplished nothing for the sake of the game" is just as "Dumb".

Again, as I pointed out in a separate thread, this kind of negativity towards other players is unnecessary and, in my opinion, uncalled for. We're all in this together. Name-calling, rudeness and mean-spirited remarks don't belong in a community.

Please return to your regularly scheduled [SPEC] Wink

GAH I was just about to post this huge post about what I talked to melissa and SP about but then it got deleted as I posted it GAH anyways all of it has prettey much been said before so I am not going to re-type all that crap because i am pissed off(especially because I even went through the precaution of copying it before I posted to ensure it didn't get deleted well then I post it and what happens? the stupid clipboard doesnt remember me typing all that stuff GAH anyways the only stuff that was new was how the after the first path there was a mirror, she said that ithe metal lady said if she looked into the mirror her family would die( I thought the metal lady was melissa so I decided to ignore that precaution anyways I got her to look into the mirror anyways then she broke down crying and it went back to melissa Then Melissa asked if there were other crew members there. I told her yes then I gave their names Vector, Oroburas, and some other guy (sorry I forget your name.)

She then wanted to talk to another crew member. I said ok heres vector, Melissa then said I do not want to talk to Vector I want to talk to Oroburas so I handed it over to him and she went through the entire schpiel with Oroburas

Thanks to those guys for helping me answer the questions correctly and thanks to this forum for pointing me in many of the right directions in the conversation.

It is a ton more phun when you can interact more with the game. And you even got to do it without bringing down the scorn and hate of the internet community on your head! Rolling Eyes Way to go! Very Happy

Thank you for your kind message. Just so you know, if I could put a Wink in the subject line, I would have.
I must say, weephun, that if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have had my day of glory. So, thank you for helping to imprison the Sleeping Princess so that I could help to set her free!
You got a lot of grief for the role you played, but hopefully people will lighten up now.

Ain't this game a blast? Laughing
Gotta go "old school" to get the Wink in the subject line Cool
Yes, for most of the time, this game has really been a blast. And most people have lightened up now *cough*deceptaconS*cough*, but hey, every Jesus has to have a Judas, right??? Laughing
Some people *cough*thanks Kazic*cough* have even realized that I helped get us more information and interaction.
You're very welcome for any help I provided in giving you your "day of glory", I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe you'll even get your own T-shirt out of the deal Cool

Must be nice, there still hasn't been one in Baton Rouge (that I've known about yet... Neutral)

So - today we freed the SP, talked to Melissa about the PF and SP and got a ton of axon waves?

Quite the day in Bee Hunting Smile

So what should we do now?! I mean - what should we be looking for, what kind of emails should we send??

A fellow Baton Rougian!

There are a few axons in Lafayette, I think. As for emails... is the flea still in control of the ladybee777? Also... is the flea evil or what? I think he may not be... but I dunno. Maybe he's just befriended the SP.

Weephun you are most welcome. I just think that it's completely idiotic for people to say that you and others who play roles in this game that others may disagree with are hindering its progress.

I mean seriously! For everyone in the SP army, it should actually be a plus. You actually got to hear your Royal Mistress' voice for the first time! That alone should have been worth it. Before that, you were pledging your eternal and undying allegience to a smattering of green letters and a no-named entity. Now you actually know what she sounds like! So go thank weepun, he did you a favor after all, lol.

If there's anything I have a problem with it's the harboring of information. If the big M tells you to shut your trap about something then you should of course because you shouldn't jerpordize your status as crew, but other wise, share the wealth man!

Weephun, I have a question for you. Did you mean to rat out the SP, or did you do it not realizing the implications it would have? I'd imagine you'd be so shocked and psyched at receiving the live call that you may not have been thinking of all the angles at the time. What's the deal?

Aye, there are three in Lafayette at the moment. There was one on the recipe3 page we got, and another that was replaced after weeks of us not finding it because it must not exist.

No more wealth to share. My "trap" was only shut as long as was absolutely necessary. I have blabbed all I have to blab. sheesh Rolling Eyes

What's the "deal" huh? OK, here we go, everybody welcome to "weephun's life and times" Wink .

OK, did I go to the phone thinking "hey, do you suppose I can get Melissa to get rid of the SP?" NO

Did I go to the phone thinking "oh man, I hope all my hard work at getting all these phones answered (every phone in Boise every week) will pay off with a live call"? YES.

While answering the call was I thinking "hey, I can make a power play here and take over the ARG *meniacal laugh*?" NO.

What was I was thinking? OK weephun, don't screw this up, don't screw this up, don't screw this up, just answer everything correctly.
When I left for the call only 2 other people had reported anything about getting a "live" call and even those reports were pretty sketchy, so I really had no idea what to expect other than to have my name and rank ready. After the 5 min it took me to convince Melissa that I was a real person and a member of her crew, I was easily locked into the "answer anything she throws at me" mode. That was when the "keep this secret ... where is the rogue process ... etc etc (you've heard it all now)" happened. I'm amazed I was even thinking fast enough to try and divert her attention toward the Pious Flea.

What was my motivation to become "crew"? To have a more active role in playing the ARG and have a better way of getting more information.
Trust me, I would have thought twice about ever picking up that ill-fated phone if I knew that becoming a "trusted crewmember" meant I had to go through all of the crap I've gone through in the last week + (and continue to have to go through Wink )

Did I think it would be cool to have my name listed on the ilovebees site? YES.
Who wouldn't? Don't tell me that the # of axons enhottenated in a day on the 21st and 28th jumped to record #s just because everybody suddenly got the urge to answer a payphone Confused

Did I think to myself after the call "hmm, I wonder what sort of implications that is going to have?" YES

Did the fear of the reaction from the ARG group here help cement my decision to keep the information harbored? ABSOLUTELY.
I was afraid that well, exactly what did happen, would happen. I had no way of knowing at the time that my name would be up in "lights" as the "Sleeping Princess betrayer" soon enough.

At the same time though, had an in-game character specifically asked for my help with somthing? YES.
And so I decided to provide that help and follow directions, which were not given only to me (TuxKamen), I just happened to be the best at executing them.

Did I leave hints GALORE as to what the "secret task" was? YES
Here's one of my favorites: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=74470&highlight=#74470

Did it turn out to create a new and exciting part of the game? YES

Am I sick and tired of explaining myself? YES!
But am I willing to do it after a polite question from somebody cool like Kazic? YES

Am I going to explain again after this? (everybody together now) NO!

Thank you and goodnight.

P.S. *note* In no way was any animosity meant to be directed at aybody with this post. Somebody just finally asked the right question in a polite way that let me get everything I was feeling and thinking off my chest. Thank Kazic!
