The first riddle Ok, the answer to the first riddle is easily found. Won't spoil your fun on that. And the second game seems to be just that, a diversion, just for fun. The next riddle I'm still working on.

The third riddle is an old chestnut:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Take the goat across, come back. Bring the leopard (or yams, doesn't really matter) across, take the goat back. Bring the yams (or leopard, if the yams are already across) across, come back. Bring the goat across. Voila.

I can tell, konamous, that you did the same Google search I did for the answer to the riddle. I know because you took the answer of the riddle above it, unless you're seeing a different riddle than I am.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The actual answer to the riddle I'm seeing is "dream".

OK, got to break down and ask. Trout? I know what it references, but how, where did the term originate? Inquiring minds and all that.....

I think it originated on Usenet, for some purpose or another. It got adopted to it's current meaning by the Cloudmakers.

The trout term actually comes from the default "slap" action in mIRC, an internet relay chat program. When you "slap" someone it says "[Me] slaps [someone] around with a large trout."
The Cloudmakers definition of trout, as re-coined by Dan Fabulich, is thus: "When I say 'trout' to you, I don't simply mean the fish, I mean to say to you: 'Listen. I respect you. It's great that you're here and posting and that we're working together for a common goal. Nonetheless, I have some polite criticisms.'"
Dan's full commentary on the matter, including examples of proper usage, can be found here .

Back to the topic of Ash Grove Park I've speculated on the topic of the park in chat, and lemme redo it here:
Dale didn't cast a spell or create Wish Powder - something at the park came to him and introduced himself as the Wish.
The legend of Ong's Hat has to do with interdimensional travel, including time travel. An out of game site speculates/asserts that "Javanese lemurs" are on the other side. (As we evolved from primates, they evolved from lemurs.) They argue that these folks can come to our place/time. Here's a link http://www.deoxy.org/inc2.htm
I'm thinking that the park, "Gateway to Another World of Fun" including the "Wish Orchard Picnic Area," is the area of the interchange between our world and theirs.
The Wish is one of these beings, having come across and intervened.
Therefore, the books and potions and spells may be a distraction (or we may need them later to summon the lemur?). This seems less of a magick story to me, and more of a sci-fi tale.[/url]

Flume picture differenceS There are two differences in the flume pics. They're using .png files in most cases, but the manipulated one was a jpg, and lossy.
Here are the two pics, adjacent.
Note 1) the sign on the shed and 2) the erased horizontal structure (a walkway?) What's the point of that?

Map of Ash Grove and Aglaura Two picture files. The first is simply the Mapquest map for the zip code and the Ash Grove map side by side. Pretty similar.
Then, I took the small map identifying the location of Ash Grove, and added to the Aglaura map so we had a more complete geography.
Two things: I didn't learn anything by the locale, but it is located on the other side of the freeway from the city. I guessed at the scale, and think it's right. However, the freeways didn't quite match when I tried to overlay the maps. I fudged a bit, but left the intersections where they were.
Second: the map at the Aglaura city site has a big gray/blue X on it. It's not in Aglaura. It's near the main township but not right on it. So I left it in the map, but I don't know why. It's not the area where Dale disappeared, so I don't know its purpose or why he (assuming it was Dale) put it there.

Blue/grey X based on what we found from the Channel 8 story of the accident, and the location (Buddtown Rd near route 642), we can be certain that the X does not signify the place of the death of Dale's wife and daughter.
And, it doesn't correlate with the location of Ash grove park.
It's near Pemberton, and that's about all I know right now...

By my quote count, you can tell I am new to these games, but one thing I noticed in that second game. When you click 'hint', the piece it highlights does not necessarily lead to any 'scores', i.e. there is no point in clicking it if you are playing the game. Whether this is poor coding, or a hint in disguise, I do not know.
